Hey guys! Still working on my orbit without engines video, hoping that I can get that out in the next few weeks. What other videos do you want to see? What about an inter-planetary ballistic missile?
-
There are graphics mods that keep everything stock but make the game look much much better
-
Imagine coming up with a sequel to a game but even people who own it don't play it.
-
Bro everyone talking about AI taking over the world but no one talking about this guy, I rly think hes more of a threat than chat gpt

3:00 The reason that’s happening is because the motors are basically frictionless, so it’s just spinning up the bottom of the topmost motor rather than the big arms.
-
Considering how many times Reid has made calculators and missiles, I think he'd fit in well at Texas Instruments
-
Now do it in real life

2:10 RC "I really didn't feel like it was concentrated enough" Me: "oh, you'll point them down and add fins or something" RC: creates spinning device to chuck rocket parts in a spread

Time to make an ICBM! selects crew capsule
-
That probe being installed upside down is exactly like what happened to one of the Proton-M rockets which caused it to turn upside down midflight and crash. (july 2013 proton-m crash)
-
Kerbals: let’s build rockets to go to space! Reid captain: icbm time! Kerbals: wait no
-
Erm, what the Kerbal? Everything you do is good, I can't wait for your synthesizer thing :)
-
"pushing my fuel tanks slightly into eachother" phases whole fuel tanks into one another
-
I wonder if your stability issues were due to the probe core not being in line with the center of mass when it was on the servo. I think that slight offset of it being on the side of the payload fuselage gave it enough of an error to cause that instability once in space. If you made a V2 id be interested to see if you could create a probe core/servo contraption to give its full 3 axis rotation while keeping it centered and in line with the rocket

local rocket scientist sacrifices countless kerbal lives to test and create ICBM to destroy the company he works for
-
HES BACK ON KSP!!! YESSSSSSS
-
average reid captain video: 'sir, the center of mass is too far down. what should we do?' 'uhh, just clip all the fuel tanks into each other. itll be fine' 'alright sir'

Would be kinda interesting to see you work on automating stuff with kOS. Nice work doing this with just the stock controllers, though
-
I don't think i'm ready for this video... I can barely get to minmus
