People forget. Listen to Siamese Dream over coffee on a Saturday morning. With no distractions. He is a genius.

Lars is somehow the best interviewer of musicians out there
  • @Ozz77765
Lars is a listener, which makes a good interviewer.

"Metal was telling me me about a world more closely aligned with the world I was living, than the one I was being told about". Perfect.

I absolutely love how Lars doesn't ask the usual questions. He gets to the core. I also like how he asks the "mechanical" questions. Like..."do you go write in a room, is there a particular cup of tea?". These are questions i want to know.

Man, Lars has some serious interviewing skills! Loved this!
  • 25 years of listening to Pumpkins interviews, and this might be the best I've ever heard. I love hearing the inside knowledge of the songwriting process.

Billy has made some of the best music the world has ever known.

Wish Kurt never died... I could see him today coming on this show and talking to Lars, being super chill... dropping all kinds of knowledge. imagine how cool that would be

Wow, Lars is an extremely EXTREMELY good interviewer. I'm kind of blown away.
  • @JohnnyRei
This was an amazing interview. I could listen to Billy talk for days.

    Lars does killer interviews.

Corgan is one of the greatest songwriters I've ever heard. I always love hearing his insight on his creative process.
  • I have a new found respect for Corgan after watching numerous interviews. He has a lot of psychological insights and discusses them very well. If he weren't a musician, he'd make a good psych counselor :-)

Wow, I am blown away at how good of an interviewer Lars is! He obviously did his homework but most importantly, he LISTENS and leaves plenty of room for the interviewee to SPEAK!!! So many interviewers get that terribly wrong.
  • @INTOTHEFOLD
Who would had guessed that Lars is a great interviewer? Really cool.

I appreciate that fact that two musicians/artists who have performed at the highest levels can sit back and reflect on their experiences, but don’t act like they have everything figured out. The both seem genuinely interested in what each other have to say, and not simply waiting for their turn to talk or steer the narrative...

Wow, just wow... I always thought of Billy as a plain egocentric person, but I felt otherwise... Just a guy who tries to do the best he can and it's not ashamed of saying what he thinks. Awesome interview, Lars is really talented in that area also. Greetings from Colombia.

Corgan is such a music industry insider, so much insight, so much rebellion and even resentment. respect.
