Garrett is Good Good. He is basically the founder and their reason for existing. Without him they have nothing or next to nothing. Matt is the only other almost golfer and his back is limiting. Steve and Bubbie are not improving and appear to just be showing up. They all look burned out and bored. It isn't fresh anymore. They all need a break.

Without Garrett, Good Good fails. Without Good Good, Garrett would still be fine. His personal channel would explode in popularity
  • There is no way Garret is leaving GG. He is the brand. No doubt he has the highest equity stake in the company. He would have to be bought out. He won’t just leave.
  • The Good Good guys are in their early 20's, but have to imagine within the next few years, they might want to get married, etc and start the next chapter in their lives, so will be interesting to see what happens over the next 12 months. That is why the BustaJack, Micah, Grant and Bryan Bros collabs are so awesome because they are able to live their family lives, have their solo/duo channels and also collab with each other.

I'm sure Garrett's equity stake is magnitudes more than the other guys. I don't think there is any chance he leaves any time soon.
  • if Garrett leaves, not sure id watch another GG video again.
  • Note if these guys are leaving Good Good or any other major platforms is because they want there own platform & will blow up the youtube golf space, I couldn't agree more in what they wanna achieve. The sky's is the limit to reach your goals in life

Good Good is a brand. It is a business, a large and expanding one at that. It's unfair to compare Good Good to individual YT channels.
  • Without Garrett Clark Good Good as we know it will cease to exist.
  • I see how well Grant is doing solo I can imagine that is stewing in Garret's head. Grant's game has also tremendously improved doing collabs with better golfers. Garret's game seems stuck the last year. I think he should try to go solo and improve his game. It was a nice run for the other guys but in a way they slow down his improvement.
  • This makes me think about the longevity of good good as a whole. After the core four (Garrett, Steve, and Matt, bubbie) leave or retire from good good, the company might die. It would be interesting to know their plan for the company and everything involving good good after two or three of those guy leave. I say this because I know some of them aren’t going to want to do this forever.

Well assuming Garret was a founding member - he most likely has an equity in the company that’s doing very well at the moment. Would make no sense for him to leave
  • @Dshwayy
If Garret leaves good good dies.. Micah and Grant were liked well enough and both made good solo content that they could thrive without good good.. Garret easily can as well, Steve, Bubbie and Matt I don’t think would have success if good good were to die out and do the solo content
  • This analysis seems kind of superficial without considering the business implications. Who in the group has ownership or equity in good good. Who is only a paid employee. Who makes money from the other business ventures like apparel.
  • @NewfieMaster
Nate, feel free to share this suggestion but I think Good Good has set the precedent, and should consider openly endorsing a 6 month or 1 year "residency" with different semi-pro/pro golfers like Luke, Brad and Ben to fill up their slots. Rotate them in and out. Instead of people "leaving", it should be part of the strategy, and keep the group fresh with the core non-golfer guys remaining or taking some time off to re-charge before coming back. Between Grant, Micah, and others, I think the message is that the serious golfers can only commit to so much of the Good Good schedule before it becomes too much.
  • @laronda10
Good good is a golf company not just a channel. The channel is just advertising that they make money from views
  • @guyrandom8518
I actually think Garrett is more dedicated to GG than his personal channel because this was his baby and for the ever growing army of personnel GG employs…
  • @emd1823
Why are you not using dark mode in your browser?
  • @Zainenn
Agreed. Garret is GoodGood. He can't leave. What they should do is less, GoodGood the company needs to not burn out their "employees".
  • There is no good good without Garrett! He is truly an anomaly. I am so impressed by this young man.
