3:35 it did rust 4:54 you have to click the cauldron while holding dye to change the color 17:05 i did another test in bedrock, it may be because mine isnt in 1.21 yet but the arrow did not light on fire

Please like this Preston if you see it so the wolf armor can’t have trims BUT you can dye it with dyes! But you just dyed the collar of the dog so put the armor and the dye of your choice in the crafting table beside each other in any slot then it should dye it! Try it out!
