No one comes close in analysis of technical aspects and professional players. I've always found Tsitsipas's serve to be awkward but could never articulate it. You did.
  • @rawrss
I always noticed Tsitsipas looking quite "unstable" when he lands, cool this is the reason. Talent and athleticism of the pros is truly impressive.
  • Another quality technical analysis🎉 Have no idea how you do it, but you just do it. So many intricate details and cross generational comparison. You are a true tennis pundit and an awsome coach. Bravo Nikola🙌
  • Another super video with clear explanations. Unique way of simplifying the serve technique and make it easy to understand. Thanks Nick !

this was a master piece analysis .Thank you a lot

Paul Annacone from TC has commented many times on Tsitsipas’ toss being more variable relative to other pros. At first he thought it was a liability, but has since come to the opinion that it’s actually quite deceptive. Stefanos can basically hit any serve type from any toss direction, as opposed to a player like Djokovic who hits any serve from a consistent toss direction. Either way, you don’t know what’s coming until it’s on top of you.
  • Great Nick! Super happy you realized this video with the footage I sent you from the Internazionali of Rome this year! Hope to send you other nice videos in the future!❤️ Thanks for your work as always! Greetings from Italy

That's a great video Nick. As usual you always come up with great contents. I think it is a flaw because it forces him to quickly make adjustment to be in position for the next shot. With that ball toss the tendency of his body is to land to the right as you illustrated in the video. It culminates in wasting energy and exposes himself against experienced players who can take advantage by hitting return of serve to the deuce side of the court.

Nick awsome analysis once again ! Serve question: I play almost 2 years tennis now i am 3.5 skill level and my serve is so bad. I just focus not to double fault, and thats all. NO power whatosoever. Tbh serve is like 1% of the time of my total practice. What would be ideal time to spent on learning serves on my level ? like 10% of practice time?

Good job... i make contact with the ball on my way down when i explode up to the ball and my back leg doesnt kick back...whats the corrective technique ....need your help...thanks
  • @ElSwissCanardo
Does Tsitsipas loose serve speed because of it? With a straight body he would the ball higher no?
  • @Schramena
Great analysis. I filmed myself seeriving and I feel like my racket take back shouldn’t be whit my arm stretched out. What is your opinion?
