I love your ideas, Richard. Exhibition vs garage layout (genius), heritage vs main lines (the contrast of these), slow vs fast lines on the main line - just love it. This layout is going to be one of the very best!

Loving the opening video Rich with the mini you appearing at different locations as a good spotter would be 🙂😎👍

Excellent update Richard! I always look forward to updates and progression of your layout. Also great to see Lulu helping out too! Looking forward to what’s in store with New Junction in 2023!
  • Brilliant update Richard. The main lines are really looking the part now. I must admit I also got the Helijan class 33 at GETS. What a brilliant little runner. Can I take the opportunity to wish you and your family (and Lulu) a Happy New Year and a brilliant 2023. Many thanks Steve
  • Great update Richard. Great progress on the layout. That scene with the 4 locomotives doing a parallel run was fantastic and to see that in model form would be awesome. - Nicholas.
  • Wow! A lot of progress and tying it all together for both home and show. Nice! Great acquisitions. Love seeing the HST all laid out, too. Glad to see you are finding time for the old hobby! Cheers and Happy New Year!

Great video as ever Richard, it's really starting to come together now. Like the idea of the points to allow operational interest to the scene to. Keep up the great work as ever and happy new year to you and your family. See you in 2023 Cheers James
  • Love your concept for this layout - old and new alongside each other, fast and slow. Variety is truly the spice! If it were my layout I would move those tunnel mouths forward a bit. Nothing destroys the visual illusion of a model quite as much as being able to see a train turning round an unfeasibly (for the real thing) sharp bend just inside a tunnel. If you move the tunnel mouths a bit you can hide the fact that the coaches are at 45 degrees to one another in there!

Another great update Richard. You are making excellent progress. It would be good to send the layout in full exhibition mode at some point. And…… of course, it is always good to see Lulu.

All coming along nicely Richard. That shot of the four trains together would be epic in model form. The MK4 rake looks great. Always a pleasure to see Lulu.
  • A great update Richard!! Thanks for sharing this video! Cheers Onno.
