  • I really loved the scene you created with the Class 91 on the mainline and the 37 on the heritage with the 33 on the sidings! Keep up the brilliant work

Looking good! Shorter and more frequent videos are great. They're much easier to watch at lunch or some other break. It can be tough to fit in an hour video in a single sitting with everything else going on in life. It's also nice to see all the incremental progress as you go.
  • The change to layout was brilliant a bit of shape made all the difference thankyou for the tips and video

Looking 👀 good Richard 👍🏻 Your classic bike T shirt was awesome 👏🏻
  • Oh man, I miss the old music intro, just because my son and I would groove to it when it came on. He's almost 4.
  • Great update Richard, I liked the shorter update it’s great to start to start see your vision of how it’s going to look, plus a side not thanks for sharing out my siphon g video much appreciated 🙂, look forward to seeing the next update- Mark
  • This is looking better and better - can't wait to see how it turns out at the end! A convincing surround to a railway is so important to the visual satisfaction and I think you're doing it absolutely right here with logical embankments - i.e. there is a reason for them - and so on. For me nothing destroys the illusion of reality so much as seeing the coaches of a train suddenly go at 35 degrees to each other just inside a tunnel mouth. I know it's not always possible, but I would always elect to bring the tunnel mouth forward such that there is enough straight track inside the tunnel mouth before a curve so that the turn is not visible from outside.
  • Great video Richard it’s great to see your layout taking shape from the ground up giving them a 3 dimensional view rather than a flat layout it’s also great to see our trains going into tunnels and emerging at the other end and a sense of satisfaction for us the modeller for what we can achieve can’t wait to see the next update Best wishes Kev Beighton Parkway Sheffield

Yeah shorter and more frequent videos are perfect for me as they give you more detail on what's going on!

    Wonderful train layout New Junction
  • Thank you for another great video, informative and good to see the hot wire method getting an airing. One tip is to spray glue the polystyrene layers together to stop shifting while cutting. The scenery really is setting up the layout nicely.

Now we can start to see your vision, the landscape formations really change how things look. Thanks for the great update that was just the right format.
  • Nice to see some scenery Richard. I always use a heat gun to make the hills look more natural, then brush on plaster before painting the earth/grass colour mix. I never use bandages as you often see the texture through them.
  • Awesome update Richard!!! Keep up this great work!! Thanks for sharing. Cheers Onno.
  • @James-Akers
Now I really like the look of your layout now the basic landform is being put in, once you've got all the bridges in as well it'll give some great scenic vistas across the whole layout. Keep up the great work and hope you and the family are well James
  • Love the music… and, yes, more frequent and short updates are great, thanks!
  • @Bassetvids
Shorter and more often please, great work btw
