What sucks is that Edwards was actually liked as a person

Nothing surprises me concerning the team. Big picture, things are different now concerning college football. Personally, change is good and inevitable as in life. GoBuffs!!

What the heck is going on?! We cannot win a championship if all we do is bleed our talent out and then blindly believe the portal is going to fix all of our problems. Winning teams retain and develop talent. We are not doing that. It is right to be concerned and it would be negligent to think otherwise.
  • This was the proper respect you pay a player that was showcased as one of the faces of the program. Dylan's loss is a major shock due to how ingrained he was in the program and how well liked he was/is. There is something more than "people don't want to compete" going on, and i am glad he was mentioned in glowing terms along with his family.
  • If Edwards thinks he's a RB1 then good luck Son. He would've thrived as an all-purpose RB2 where the real money is in the NFL. Coach Prime told us, during this time "You have to recruit your own players!" 😂😂

I said the same thing, a possible NIL 💵💵💰💵💰💰 might of been offered, so if was gets maybe $350K-$500K, but a school offers you a $Milli$, are you staying?

Only overshadowed by you, the negative media…Edwards was too small to be a running back…some of these kids are legends in their own minds…

Aside from the TCU game, Dylan was a disappointment last year. That said, he has upside in the right system, which I thought we were building towards. The most surprising thing to me was the supposed “special relationship” he had with Coach Prime. Not so much, it appears.

The problem is that people, just like you two, are giving the players something that they did not earn and are not reflecting who those players really are at their core. Why are you both praising the character of Dylan Edwards? You obviously did not know him well. Just because he smiles at you face to face and is likeable does not mean he is a person that you should be praising. It is sort of like the O.J. thing. People thought he was one way but he was the opposite. I am not saying that DE is a woman beater...but he obviously has issues because he is mad about not being the featured back or offensive option so he jumps ship. That is selfish and not being a team player. He should be happy to be getting a degree for free from CU and turning that into a long-term win for himself as a coach or CEO or a big time entrepreneur. He has all the connections to get an opportunity in the NFL from CU...but he doesn't care about the future and doing things the right way. It's better that he is gone because that is not the type of person that needs to be on the team. Charlie may not have all of the talent that DE has but he is a better person for a team and the community. That's what really matters in life. CU needs to get real players that believe in winning on and off the field. You two need to be more selective in your determination of team players that represent CU and the community in a positive way. I expected you two to be better than that because you know better or should know better.

There are some young women crying in their sleep over Dylan leaving
  • Can we just call NIL for what really is? PAYFORPLAY. Hows everyone feeling about the state of college football these days? Endless wave after wave of rental mercenary 1 year players with no end in sight? Will anyone fondly remember any of these players down the road like so many in the Crowder, Mac, Barnett eras?? Nameless 1 year players rented in hope to go to a minor bowl game?? Not one of these current day mercs will be able to tell you all the different schools they played for years from now. Why? Because CU was just a bag. Nothing more. Not their alma matter, not their passion. CU can't meet my demand for a raise? Fuck em. I'll hit portal and git me my bag elsewhere. I need a shower now. Makes me feel dirty talking current day college football. Yuck.

Not dylan too 😥 this is bad
  • @HappyGrouch
The staff needs to control the narrative of the players leaving. Dylan leaving is a big shot to the optics of the team. If the media gets to control what the public (including potential recruits and Donors) see, it can damage the growth of the program

Too much turnover player and Coach wise. More of the same next year good luck
