In 1981, six years after joining Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks went solo for the first time with her debut album ‘Bella Donna’. A massive success, it sold more than five million copies in the U.S., topped the album charts and produced four hit singles, including her signature anthem, "Edge Of Seventeen." More platinum albums followed – ‘The Wild Heart’ (1983), ‘Rock A Little’ (1985), and ‘The Other Side Of The Mirror’ (1989).

In 2019, Stevie Nicks made history by becoming the first female artist inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice - first as a member of Fleetwood Mac in 1998, and most recently in recognition of an extraordinary solo career that spans nearly 40 years.

There is some magic that the 80s created that can never be duplicated again. This song is an example of that. That's what makes the 80s so special. :)

Stevie says she was so wasted making this video she wished this video was never played no matter how good it turned out. Glad she was able to face her demons, squash them and continue on. One of the best female performers ever!

Happy New Year! 2024 and this song still rocks!

Just played GTA 5 and remembered that song... the 80s at its best!

There's so much going on in this song: the raspy vocals, the synthesizers, the bass, drums, and guitar solo, it all meshes together beautifully in harmony. THAT, was the sound of the 80's.

I miss the days when musicians put a lot of effort into these things. The good ol' days of great music videos. I love that they didn't cut away from her intense facial expressions. You keep expecting a cut, but the video editor just let it ride.

I'm 27 years old and I guess she's in her 70's, but I gotta say that I have a crush on her.... She's gorgeous and very talented!

I'm 66 and I still cannot listen to this song without cranking the volume up to 10 and blowing out what's left of my eardrums. One of the cleanest, hardest intros to a song ever. My wife and 29 year old daughter are about to see her live in Little Rock tonight.

40 yrs later I still get chills

Stevie Nicks, you are truly a LEGEND! Rock on!

"I'm your DJ, Captain Loggins. We won't let you wait." Seriously, this is one of the most 80s songs ever. The Drums, the vocals, the synths, it's THE sound.
  • Will see her tomorrow in New Orleans ! With my 29 year old daughter for the third time . First concert was in Biloxi and Christine was there too RIP . Never gets old . Priceless legend .

The synth at the bridge is mesmerizing. One of her most underrated songs.

Stevie Nicks is so amazing. Beautiful song!

Stevie has so many great songs with FM and solo, but this song is her best solo song. True 80’s with a great hook and melody. I wish they played this on regular radio.
