  • CJ. I just tuned in, and I am very concerned about you and mom, WORKING IN THE EVER INCREASING HEAT, BECAUSE OF YOUR LOVE FOR , NOT ONLY YOUR WORK OH HELPING OTHERS. MY SON, WHO IS A COOK OF 30 YEARS, has a cooling fan he wears around his neck, and, I went on Google just now and I also saw what is called the COOLING VEST. Please look into these items for you and mom. I am 74, not much means, but, I pray and seek out some way to be of help. I love you guys. My mom left me in 1997. I miss her so much, but, she, too, prayed for direction from God how to be of help, even if she had no monetary means to do so. Continue taking care of mom, especially in these coming days of heat, and yourself too. I love you. Trish, listen to CJ, ❤🎉😊❤😂😊🎉🎉🎉
  • Casey you need to get some sun clothing that keeps you sunsafe and cooler. Trish needs some soft cool packs to put under her hat. The summer is going to get worse before the end of it. Please start using some Gatorade powder in your water. Don't mow until after 3, then it's cooler a bit and mow first thing in the morning before 10am. I know it will cut into your mowing time, but your health is more important. Great job as always.
  • I think mother nature is sending us all a message this summer and we need to take heed. Please, please use caution and, above all, prudence. Love your videos but don't want to see you have heat stroke. You are allowed to take it easy; no one will think any the less of you for doing so. All the best for your efforts. Praying for your safety and for cooler weather! Be safe out there.

Stop wearing dark colored clothing while doing yard maintenance and wear big brim straw hats that allow for air circulation.
  • The humidity is horrible. Please be careful out there. Love your videos.

😮‍💨Dark colored clothes = being hotter. Sun is absorbed by dark colors,😰 and Light colors reflect the sun. True.
  • Casey and Trish….that heat is no joke, and can sneak up on you fast. Please take care of yourselves. There are cooling vests, neck gadgets, etc. to help keeping you cooler. Wearing lighter clothing is smart, too. Casey, your mom needs extra care….she pushes herself too hard. Love from Pennsylvania 💕🌷🐻
  • I have to say I was uncomfortable watching this video of you both working out in that heat and humidity. Your safety should be first and foremost. No one would fault you if you didn’t post quite as often. Please take extra care.❤️🙏.
  • Don't forget, you need some salt with your water. Sweat is salty. Take care! Keep up the great work!

I worked for many years in temps over 100'. Some smart things to do. Wear light colour clothing. Don't believe me but try it yourself. Wear light colour clothing in direct sunlight and then try the same in dark clothing. Ditch the jeans for shorts. Wear the widest all round brim hat. Drink plenty of cool water. Not cold water because you'll never be able to drink enough of it. I had a co worker and we'd drink about 4 gallons a day each. Welcome to the deserts of Australia.

Praying for you two that you're safe out there. I've had heat stroke and it isn't fun. I was down for over a week. I have family in the lawn care business. They have wide brim hats and cooling towels they wear. They also drink fluids with electrolytes. Pleas be careful.

You are a blessing of a son. It's great to witness the attention and respect you have for each other. That's why your videos are so rewarding-along with the way you help the community as you volunteer. Thank you. ❤❤❤
  • You need to wear light colored clothing when it’s that hot if you’re going to be outside and drench yourself in water if you have to and drink plenty of it, I was born and raised in Florida. I know how hard it gets.

I live in Ohio. I’m 67 and use a regular gas push mower. If I cut my mother in laws yard in this humidity, I have to take several breaks, and even then sometimes it takes several days. Be Safe! Great job!
  • Trish you need to stop wearing black it absorbs the heat, white is the key to cooler clothing. Love you guys
  • I'm glad your Mom took a break. Staying hydrated and cooling off is good advice.🙂
