I thought I was going to give my cat food poisoning giving her raw chicken, then realised she’s not a human... she’s a cat and this is what they naturally eat

I have watched countless videos on raw cat food prep in the last 2 years since I've dived into this...this is my new favorite. Simplified, to the point and saves time. 2 thumbs up!
  • This video was suggested by my vet because my cat doesn't like fish, egg, rice, kible, bone and any other seafood. He only eat chicken but chicken breast, albeit healthy does not provide enough nutrition for my cat so he became skinny. So, my vet suggest me to follow this recipe because if combine heart, liver, chicken thigh, and supplement provided my cat's meal will have enough nurition too ensure my cat's health.

Thanks so much for this recipe and most importantly, the link to Alnutrin! I've been researching a raw food diet for my cats but was really intimidated by all the different types of supplements and the idea of not getting it right made me really anxious. Having an all-in-one mix I can purchase seems so much more doable.

Hi, UPDATE-Great video, very well down. I purchased a 2 month old Bengal kitten (similar to cat pictured). I feed my kitten up to 3 cans - 3 oz each a day, HE LOVES IT! I also warm it up (temperature as if he caught a fresh mouse), I keep his water fountain separate from his food dish (as if he was in the wild); side-note My bengal weighed .89 lbs when I got him, after 2 weeks he was 2.2 lbs. This raw food diet works for me, his appetite is great, coat is beatiful, energy is crazy (I have a water spray bottle for too crazy, lol) and I feel like I'm giving him the best life he can have, Good Luck🙏 - treat your babies like they are your children❣

This was great... love the quick simplicity. Just curious if you used supermarket grade of meat & organs or were they organic? Do you also change up the meat choice like beef too? My cat recently passed due to terrible CKD. Yes this is the best way to feed.

You can mix 1 spoon of greek yoghurt in each container to the raw meat. It serves as an excellent source of probioitics to the kitties.

Good vid. Comment: Even though you're generously supplementing, everything ive read suggests that there are still very strong reasons to include some appropriate raw bone content, not just soft flesh and organs ... the extra chewing is supposedly great for their oral health by exercising their chewing muscles, stimulating the gums, and naturally scraping away tartar. Ive also heard that bone (and fur for whole prey model) also functions a bit like fiber does for us, and helps their GI move better. Foods to consider: whole small fish like sardines and mackerel, chicken necks and wings (use a rubber mallet to break up the bones for the first few weeks until their chewing prowess improves enough to leave them whole). Just something to consider ... i'm not an authority, and it's been a few decades since I was owned by a cat. Cheers.

Thank you for this amazing recipe, I am getting my first Bengal cat in a couple of weeks and find it very helpful. The question I have is what size are those containers?
  • @imanejiahy2807
Great video thank you. can you share where you buy the supplement? also, does your cat eat two containers a day?
  • @515aleon
VERY nice--simple recipe. Easy to follow. BTW, for someone who might not want to blend up liver, etc. There are a couple brands of premixes including TC Feline and Feline Instincts that have dried liver in them. Sure it's not as good for them but way better than canned food and cheaper. I would LOVE to know what kind of blender you have. Looks powerful but simple.
  • @good4u702
great video but how much water did you add and how much in a portion?
  • @periwinkle0605
Hello, may I ask what should be the meat to liver ratio for balanced mix? As I’ve read that cats can’t have too much or too little liver in their diet. Thank you!
  • @8croberts
This was so helpful! Thank you! When do you bring down the container of food to defrost?
