For anyone who doesn't know, philosophers would gather in meetings called salons. They are not cutting people's hair while quoting Diogenes.

they way he's laughing at her during a serious conversation and while she's explaining herself, girl RUN
  • I really hope the girl from stream breaks up with him. He's pathetic, insecure, & MANIPULATIVE. She deserves better.

I love the Kurt Cobain podcast!!!
  • kurtis being on the side of the moms doing weird workouts made me smile bc he was right about them having fun and how difficult it can be to get exercise
  • Should have called it the sorcerers salon for the American audience
  • @kayc_x3
I miss the part of the intro where Kurtis told hank green “I think that’s just my face”
  • 11:33 they call it a salon because a long time ago in history around the time of the french revolution, educated people would form "salons". They werent actually hair cut places, obviously, but instead they were small gatherings or meetings hosted by women or educated people who discussed ideas of enlightenment, industrialization, and revolution. They met in small places similar to modern salons to avoid being caught (it was like a secret society kinda thing but also not really). Over time, thats just what modern day salons ended up being called. But a philosophers salon is pretty much a place where philosophers communicate ideas and talk. And dont hate me for this definition cuz i know its not 100% right, but we talked abt them briefly in my global class and thats whay i rememeber

i would actually die if i was the person who believed you were kurt cobain and lived through that extremely embarrassing moment and then found out you talked about it on a podcast episode 😭😭😭
  • as someone who is physically disabled (i have ehlers danlos syndrome. it effects my joints so i experience a lot of dislocations n stuff) but that bungee workout would actually help make working out more accessible cuz it would take the load off my joints, which would allow me to actually work out. so. take that into consideration you stinky little angry internet trolls

I feel bad for that girl. If he's this upset over this video and doesn't trust her this much over this, clearly the relationship isn't going to work. That guy needs serious help
  • Dude I actually convinced my little brother that you were Kurt cobain for three years 😭
  • The philosophy salon is funny but I kind of feel bad. One of the guys in the tiktok makes great YouTube videos about literature and philosophy, he doesn’t use big words or anything, he just expresses his love for reading. The whole internet clowning them for trying to explore their niche. Of course it’s a performative, they are all 18-22 yrs old.

Smoking a joint mid argument is crazy

That guy calling his gf a liar is soooooo manipulative., It's all about framing her as in the wrong to gain control. Red flag for insecure controlling man.
