"the worst part about listening to Tool for the first time is that you can never listen to Tool for the first time again"
  • @chewiefettish
Most accurate quote ever: "I'm new to Tool...and I feel like I have wasted my life." Welcome to the collective, Ken.
  • Is anyone else just watching endless pneuma Danny Carey reaction vids like me?! I’m totally addicted to this song and DC is a freak lol.
  • @amszulu
This is probably the best reaction I’ve seen. Dude straight got high off the music.

“That’s a really odd meter”... Tool Fans: “we know”

“I’m new to Tool and I feel like I’ve wasted my life” Truer words have never been spoken 😂
  • @chrisbarton4344
Maynard has been quoted as saying he performs from the back of the stage just so he can watch Danny play. Respect.

"Legend has it that Danny Carey made a deal with the devil. Nobody knows what Danny got, but the devil got drum lessons." - suitsmefine 100

Watching anyone discover Tool is just pure joy for me.

My friend used to tell me this band, specifically Danny Carey runs percussive marathons. But you're right. This is sorcery. When I was a child listening to Tool, it used to frustrate me because the meter wasn't easily predictable. As I grew older, I realized this was one of the reasons why it's magical.
  • Danny Carey’s drum solo is the best thing I’ve ever heard live. It’s an out of body experience.
  • @Hammisvinet
Vocal coach forgets about vocals and just witness the divine powers of Danney Carey

I’m 23 and this is my first time hearing of tool... greatest beginning to a new chapter of my life

when you listen to Pneuma, over and over again you are left with that feeling that you never want the song to end.

Danny Carrey is not a man, he is an octopus in disguise, each one of his limbs has a mind of it's own. The ability to keep such time with so many different limbs is amazing!
  • @sdean1978
“a wizard around all these cauldrons... brewing potion” is the BEST description of Danny Carey’s drumming I’ve ever heard
  • @richeerich561
As a Tool fan, after we can no longer listen to Tool for the first time again, we seek the reaction to others listening to Tool the first time so we can.. Vicariously live through you.
  • I remember the first time I heard Tool, I must have been 14. and this guys face says it all. Nobody on earth really compares to the music these guys put out. to this day..
  • @jessed1392
He is a wizard. He is pulling energy out of the drums and crowd to create this.
