Madara literally praised Tobirama for being extremely intelligent to the point of capitalising on certain situations like the opponent being convinced about winning the fight to launch a decisive surprise attack and for being capable of outspeeding the fastest speed of any shinobi Madara ever saw up to the point of the fight between them including everyone Madara lived through their time from Tajima and Izuna all the way to Minato and Obito when Madara died of old age he also acknowledged that he was lucky that Tobirama was Edo nerfed and couldn’t regain his full power including his prime strength and speed or he would’ve been much tougher opponent to the plan of Madara, that’s hell of a respect showing right there.
