Disney always out does themselves with villain songs. BUT having others sing from the perspective that Bruno is the villain when he ISNT ONE! Masterpiece

I love how Bruno is probably just chilling in the walls vibing to this. “They’re wrong about me in like all of these lyrics, but damn they do know how sing.”

This is still one of the best songs Disney has ever produced in their films

Haven't seen anyone mention how prominent the "He's here!" at the end is supposed to signify Mariano's arrival, but truly this is foreshadowing that Bruno is still there.

It’s sad that everyone misunderstood Bruno. His gift is pretty straightforward, he can see images representing the most probable future. He can’t change it, he isn’t influencing it, he isn’t told exactly what the future is, all he’s doing is seeing images of the most probable future. It’s up to him to interpret what he saw, and sometimes he’s wrong or just doesn’t know. And, unfortunately, since no one other than Bruno and Maribel seems to understand that Bruno has no power over the future itself he’s vilified by his own family, his own mother even. Hell, he believed it was partially his fault too. He kept knocking on wood, crossing his fingers, throwing salt and sugar over his shoulders, the poor guy was gaslit to believe he was a problem, when in fact his gift may be the most powerful of all the gifts we see besides the miracle itself.

I seriously love Camilo's part, he's really singing about how bad Bruno is and it's hilarious cause later in the movie he's the only one who's like "We're gonna talk about Bruno?"

Everybody got a bad prophecy, but Isabela. Mirabel's face at 2:04 is priceless!

Dolores clearly has the most important verse in this song because it's not based in any misconceptions. She also has the most recent up to date information about Bruno. When she sings "we don't talk about Bruno," she's the only one who sounds saddened by that. She knows he's misunderstood and how burdensome these "gifts," can be. That's why when she said "it's a heavy lift with a gift so humbling," I assumed she was talking about herself and only recently realized she's talking about Bruno.

This song has been stuck in my head for hours

I still love how Bruno told Isabella that the life she always wanted would someday be hers, implying that she could escape her expectations and live freely to grow however she wished

The way Felix smiles when he says "it was our wedding day" This man loves his wife so much. A treasure

The fact that Isabella is included in the song about how no one like Bruno's prophecies even though it sounds great for her on the outside is a great way to foreshadow how she truly felt about the engagement.

I absolutely LOVE the layered meanings behind Isabella's line. "-the life of MY dreams would be promised and someday be mine" The fact that he told her this in the past and shes sang this in this song clearly tells us that she believed this prediction of Bruno's to have come true. As in, this life of hers where shes being married off to a man she doesn't love, being paraded around as the perfect golden child, ALL of the things she's now experiencing was ONCE a life she dreamt of having back when she was a young child (im just assuming before her gift manifested). This life USED to be something she dreamed about, and when Bruno told her she would have the life of her dreams, maybe at the time she was overjoyed, but now after experiencing all the pressure to be perfect and being held to such strict standards, Isabella truly hates how her life has turned out. Hence why she sings it in this song- a song about all the HORRIBLE predictions Bruno gave out. Its such a short line but it always resonates with me because of how much we learn simply from it. We learn that young isabella used to dream of having the 'perfect' life, and that eventually she got it but when she did she found that she hated it. We learn that despite how she presents, she is very unhappy with her current lifestyle (foreshadowing). And then later at the end of the movie when Isabella is finally able to life her life without the need to predent to be someone she isnt- "the life of my dreams would be promised and someday be mine" bruno's prediction still reigns true, but this time his prediction is seen in a positive light rather than the forboding negativity isabella viewed his words as before.

Am i the only one who noticed that by the end Isabella's lyrics turn into "I'm fine. I'm fine" and her expression is also pained. like it was already foreshadowing how she felt about the proposal and her whole life in general. Also we can se Bruno in the background during Dolores's part in the beginning.

I love Bruno jamming out in the background at the end of Dolores's scene. That feeling when your whole family is singing about how much of a jinx you are, but the song slaps too good.

I think we all can agree that this song is so addicting!! Especially Dolores and Camilo’s parts, they have lovely voices <3
