My all-time favorite Mega Man game by far, and my favorite NES soundtrack. For the absolute best shooter/platformer on the NES, look no further.

13:10 Notice that Protoman only shoots when he's jumping because he doesn't want to hurt his own brother. Megaman just needed to dodge him. It took me over 25 years to finally notice that.

This game holds a lot of nostalgic memories. For me, this is one of the best games in the series. It was the game that introduced Rush and Protoman, it had a nice cast of bosses, the music is memorable, and the replay value is quite high. More than 30 years later, this is still a solid Megaman game.

That Intro, God.... The soundtrack is amazing, I think the best 8 bits.

My favorite Mega Man game. The music and graphics are top notch. The stage themes for Magnet Man, Hard Man and Needle Man are my favorites!

For those who either had trouble with each of the 8 bosses, or are new to this, this is usually the weakness pattern: Needle Man < Gemini Laser Gemini Man < Search Snake Snake Man < Needle Cannon Top Man < Hard Knuckle Shadow Man < Top Spin Spark Man < Shadow Blade Magnet Man < Spark Shock Hard Man < Magnet Missile Metal Man < Magnet Missile Quick Man < Gemini Laser Air Man < Spark Shock Crash Man < Hard Knuckle Flash Man < Needle Man Bubble Man < Shadow Blade Wood Man < Search Snake Heat Man < Top Spin Of Course, some of these bosses have multiple weaknesses, but this pattern is like a chain link of sorts.

That's crazy how the soundtrack brings back memories even before I saw the video I was humming songs from back then. Huge mega man fan even had a mm club back in the day .

It's been decades since I last played Mega Man 3, and only now do I realize what an absolute fever dream Gemini Man's entire stage was. You're fighting penguins and flying tadpoles throughout a strobing technicolor hellscape inside (presumably) the Moon, all to an unsettlingly catchy soundtrack. What drugs weren't the level designers taking?

Holy crap I remember the day this game came out and I was obsessed for weeks. Man this really brings back memories. Awesome video!!

Fun Fact: In Mega Man 3, all the robot masters are weak to their own weapons. (No, I'm not kidding. Try it when you get to the Robot Rush.)
