Road Down Memory Lane will be a series of speedpaints remembering memorable scenes of each episode. I'll be adding in the description some commentary regarding the drawing if you feel like reading it.

Mettaton neo was that one fight everyone wanted to see but it never happened in the game, so I used this episode to give him some much deserved spotlight. it was a very fun fight to animate and my first attempts at a more dynamic fight with different angles and such.

Mettaton's design was complicated to get right so it was scary to try to animate him at first but I think it turned out well.

    This fight was pretty cool. Sucks how NEO was originally used as a morality plot device rather than an actual fight, but that's the point, I reckon. Also like how our residential spoder and sun-flavored bartender got some neat rep in the series, too. 👍

    Splendid work, Cami! And it feels a bit weird to see Betty again (even if only in a speed paint) after the end she met literally at the hands of Gaster.

    Betty actually made some really good points in their fight. Mettaton has no real experience fighting against opponents who are intended to be killed. Nor has he ever trained and practiced his NEO form enough to get a decent hold over its potential benefits and downsides. Mettaton is a show-star not a fighter, and while their original purpose may have been as a Human-Eradication Machine. They have done poorly in fulfilling that role to its fullest. Hopefully though, they get more adjusted to that Data one day. Who knows they may even get to spar with Undyne from time to time. 😉🤩💖
