Slight uptick in Southern California Earthquake Activity. Aftershocks continue in Russia region.8/19

The number just keeps going up. I am born and raised in Bakersfield, and I have felt so many earthquakes. I feel like a major earthquake is coming. There’s nothing we can do to stop it. We can just be prepared for it. I believe it was in the 50’s there was a really bad one, that destroyed downtown. It’s so common that they taught us in school what to do in an earthquake. We had earthquake drills all the time. I’m not saying that I’m not scared, but if it’s going to happen then it will. Thank you for all you do✌🏼

Your arrows are pointing at my home town. I was thinking that over 100 years ago, there was a substantial earthquake in this area. I would think it's ready to pop, like a cowboy at the chiropractor.

I live in Quakers field, I mean Bakersfield, almost 700 earthquakes😮 I thought my bad was rocking, shake rattle and roll baby😊 big ones coming!

I’m in Santa Monica California but have lived in San Francisco, Sacramento, and Spokane Washington. I have friends in Seattle, Tacoma, Bainbridge Island and Port Angeles Washington! I pray they will not experience a M9.0 or above. I’ve been through 6.9 in San Francisco during the A’s-Giants World Series baseball ⚾️ game in 89 and felt Northridge in 94 as the Santa Monica Freeway was down for months!!! I have family in Anchorage Alaska and my dad was stationed in the Air Force there in 1964 M9.2 temblor. My heart ❤️ goes out to all of us on the West Coast!

Cascadia fault is looking kinda quiet and so the question is: does San Andreas set up Cascadia, or does Cascadia set up San Andreas? Either way, once one of them blows, I'd bet that thrn it will be consistent high magnitude Earthquakes within a 100 year period for major geologic changes

Looks to be warning of a crumbling effect if you look at the whole region.
