I would recommend Regents Park and London Zoo. If going to Oxford I would recommend the Ashmolean Museum
  • Thank you for this video. I have been to London twice and will be back this summer, and your itineraries are 🎉fabulous 👌🏿
  • Traveling to London in September and though I have been to London Thrice before, I am taking my parents and would do everything from scratch. The map is very very very helpful. Will save me a lot of time in research. Thanks a lot!

As an American that’s been to central London multiple times I always tell American tourist do not take the tube. People don’t realize it depending on the time of the day the tube has off peak and peak times. Take the buses it’s cheaper. Unless your going to a far out destination with in zone 1-6 don’t. Avoid taking the Elizabeth line because it’s not part of the underground. There are ways to get from Heathrow to Central London to zone one and two without paying an arm and a leg.
  • You didn’t mention the theatre! I always recommend seeing a show in London at one of the many theatres in the West End (which is apparently half the price of broadway shows, check online to see what’s good and what’s not) or if you’re into Shakespeare you’ve got to go to Shakespeare’s Globe on the south bank near the Tate modern. It’s a rebuild of the seventeenth century original theatre so there’s seating OR there’s the option to stand and watch the show from ‘the yard’ as people did back in the day. The theatre company who run the globe are fantastic. It’s weather dependent as it’s open air, so if I starts raining and you’re in the yard you get wet, but the cast often interact with and sometimes walk through the people on the yard. Also not used in the winter (they have a smaller indoor space that still has shows though).

  • I love your helpful tips and information! You are so generous with your itineraries and suggestions. I'm planning my first trip to England, and have watched a lot of vlogs, but I really enjoy yours. I'd also be interested if you do any other day trips. Have you thought about taking a trip to Yorkshire?

  • Hi, thank you for the wonderful video. I’m visiting London next month. Can you please help me with some informations? 1. If I get an Oyster Card for travelling and suppose cap it to 50 pounds, is it valid for 1 day only or more than a day? 2. I found that there’s zone demarcation in London. Now, do Oyster Cards have specific zone limits? Or, having one is enough to get through all the zones? Thanks 😊

I live in the UK 🇬🇧 and always use feet and inches, but thats not the norm here, i just prefer it. But then I'm 67 and was brought up with it 😊😊
