My dad just got me one of these kits for Easter. I’m 34. My dad is the greatest. 😅 Thank you for the info! ❤

I've been caring for sea monkeys for over 6ish months now, and even some of these tips are still helpful for me to know 😂 I'll definitely have to check out one of the 3d printed lids soon!

I love Sea Monkeys! I had them when I was a kid I kept them under my parents plant light in the laundry room and kept them alive for 2 years. I didn't even know you could get them anymore, but now that I do I went and got a kit. I might get your special lid before we go on vacation this summer to keep them warm and aerated.! Great idea!

Great custom 3-D Printed lids to allow for the light and filter/bubbles for air into the water. Cool to see that mother Sea-Monkey eating the algae in that one view. You are right, feeding too much too soon can be bad for the tank and brine shrimp. Good tip about the nursery for the babies. Cool Sea-Monkey Figure too. Great tips as usual, thanks!

Omg this is such a throwback...I loved seamonkeys when i was a kid, and they used to grow so big!! They always ended up dying though...now I'm inspired to try raising them again 😂

Excellent, John. Great tips and a nice introduction to the new custom lids you’re offering. (Very practical and they look great!) Tip number 10 was my favorite.
  • @Nuttilicious
Happy to hear that your custom lids are finally up for sale! That was an awesome idea and I'm glad you ended up following through with it. I still have yet to get a new one due to upcoming changes in my life but you bet I'm snagging one as soon as I'm able to! Hopefully they're still available by then
  • The word "getting" can indeed imply various contexts and nuances in human language use. Let's break down the primary connotations and typical uses of "getting" based on linguistic and semantic analysis: Transaction or Acquisition: "Getting" often implies the act of acquiring or obtaining something. This can be in the form of a purchase, a gift, or any other form of acquisition. For example, "I am getting a new car" suggests that the speaker is in the process of acquiring a new car. Request or Expectation: In some contexts, "getting" can imply a request or expectation. For example, "I am getting help from my friend" could imply that the speaker expected or requested assistance and is now receiving it. Entitlement or Result: It can also suggest a sense of entitlement or the result of a predefined expectation. For instance, "She is getting a promotion" implies that the promotion is a result of her performance or entitlement to that reward based on her work. Demand or Settlement: The word can suggest a demand settlement or a reward. For example, "He is getting his due" implies that a reward or settlement is being provided to the individual as a result of some prior action or agreement. In essence, "getting" encapsulates the idea of moving from a state of not having to having, often accompanied by an underlying cause or reason, whether it be through a request, entitlement, expectation, or demand. This multifaceted usage of "getting" reflects its versatility in the English language to convey different aspects of acquisition and fulfillment. To provide a more comprehensive understanding, we can consider several authoritative linguistic sources: Oxford English Dictionary (OED): The OED defines "get" as to "come to have (something); receive" and notes various usages that align with acquisition, entitlement, and demand. Merriam-Webster Dictionary: Merriam-Webster defines "get" as to "gain possession of" or "to receive as a return: earn," which again supports the notions of transaction, expectation, and reward. Cambridge Dictionary: The Cambridge Dictionary includes definitions such as "to obtain, buy, or earn something," further highlighting the transactional and acquisitive nature of "getting." By considering these sources, we can conclude that your assessment is largely correct. The word "getting" indeed implies various forms of acquisition and fulfillment, encompassing requests, expectations, entitlements, and settlements in its usage.

Thank you for the advise for a heater. I knew they needed heat but I figured that if I turned up my thermostat that I could make it warm enough for them. It's been a week and I'm still not seeing anything, so I found my way here. I can't put them by a window because all I have are drafty sliding doors and it's winter, which should have been another reason to get a heater.
  • @loriki8766
Love the ingenious lid design! I'd be careful sharing accessories - like the leash - between tanks. They can spread bad things too. Thanks for the great review of the volcano tank!
  • @Rebecca-qf7is
This is great information and I love the 3d printed lids to help with the accessories!
  • @mallen3200
When I saw this video, I was actually quite surprised. See monkeys are also known as brine shrimp and I use them to feed my pet fish so I had no idea people actually keep them as pets. I thought they were just for feeding fish. 😅😅
