What is Eucharistic Adoration?

Publicado 2024-06-05
Friends, if there’s one thing I can encourage you to do—Catholic or not—it is to spend time before the Blessed Sacrament. That little red light is always on, beckoning us toward Christ. So many of the spiritual giants of the twentieth century—Fulton Sheen, Edith Stein, Mother Teresa, and John Paul II, to name a few—were often found praying before the Eucharistic Lord.

I am praying that my husband can see the Eucharist for what it truly is. Please Lord, open his eyes.
  • I am home bound but the highlight of my week is when ministers from my parish bring me the Eucharist. I had been away from the church for many years but developed a real hunger to receive the Eucharist. Now Jesus comes into my home once a week and blesses my wife and myself. Praise God.

  • King Jesus only you can change my situation. Jesus you are my King, I need a miracle today please come and rescue me. As a single mother, raising not one but two children on the spectrum I am overwhelmed and I’m constantly struggling to pay bills. Struggling to buy groceries, struggling to do it all. But I won’t give up. I have the faith to believe and receive a blessing from you today Lord Jesus. 💕❤️

In a couple of hours, our parish, St. Joseph's in Kaitaia, Northland NZ, will start a 24-hour Eucharistic Adoration vigil. I just re-watched this talk to prepare before heading to the church at midnight. It's incredible. Many thanks to Bishop Barron and Word on Fire. Blessings from NZ.
  • From the onset of the announcement of the Eucharistic Renewal, a group of us at St. John Vianney, Round Rock, Texas, accepted the challenge given by Fr. Rocky, of Relevant Radio, to join the challenge of prayer in spiritual support of the movement. We go to our parish, to the tabernacle chapel (weather permitting) and pray. We created a prayer cycle for this purpose.
  • Bishop Robert Barron is already Saint! Brilliant theologian and Christ's delivery of the Good News!

  • My Lord Jesus, I am deeply troubled with the situation in my family , look not on my sins but grant me my petitions and prayers through the intercession of Mary ❤❤🎉🎉❤❤🎉🎉❤❤🎉❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉❤
  • "I look at Him, He looks at me". Like the peasant in St. John Vianney's chapel. I once read: "silence is God's favorite language". The contemplative prayer. So difficult and so fulfilling. God bless you all.
