  • I love how the whole point of the scene was that it was just a simple burger but Andrew just Couldn’t hold back making something fancy
  • Something tells me he didn’t want to recreate “The Mess” or “The S’mores.”

2:08 To be fair though, when Margot asked Slowik what his kitchen has, Slowik responded "Everything", so TECHNICALLY he most likely would have some ground beef, American cheese and burger buns lying around somewhere.

I love that the mixer just slowly migrates across the counter as it's beating the patato dough
  • @memal25
Your perseverance to finish the crinkle cut fries with the wonky knife deserves applause. 👏🏼
  • @DennisTague
You gotta make Tyler’s meal. His technique was flawless.
  • @simonhughes2902
hand cut crinkle cut is something I never thought I would see, that's absurdist levels of art
  • @paxtonroe246
This is exactly the type of video I have been missing from babish. I’ve felt like there hasn’t been much “binging” in most of the recent ones! So nice to see a longer video where you can tell he took time to get everything perfect!

As someone who helped film The Menu… this is the coolest thing I could have imagined!
  • @svnofspades3014
Decided to try out the recipe and it is absolutely DELICIOUS! Took me a few tries to nail down a near perfect medium but once I did the taste was heavenly and it is a really filling meal so if ya'll are thinking about trying it out go for it.

i like to think the crinkle cutter is actually incredibly sturdy but were no match for babish’s inhuman strength
  • I loved the burger scene in the menu the subtle progression of the emotions on his face he says he lost his love for cooking and have that love return not from an awe inspiring rendition of a dish but by a simple burger that returns his love for cooking by reminding him of why he set out on his path Ralph Fienes really made such a small scene with no words powerful with emotion alone
  • @flapjackson9962
Every time I open up an American cheese slice, I hear Ralph Fiennes in the back of my mind "American cheese is the best cheese for a cheeseburger because it melts without splitting". Brilliant.
  • @ElliotFutrell
I just wanna say that I love how you try the easier way then make it all again fixing your mistakes and tweaking the recipe until its perfect
  • I remember after watching this movie, I said myself to myself, "Now I want a cheeseburger."
  • @Jokin_Jake
I attempted to make this burger immediately after I returned from the theater. It was one of the best burgers I ever had. The caramelized onions were the best part of it.
  • @zynnertime
I absolutely LOVE that this got back to the more traditional BWB formula: “we made it the cheap and easy way to match the show/movie, now how can we make it better?” Much more like old school BWB episodes that I loved years ago! Great video!

To describe your version of Chef Slowik’s Cheeseburger, As Margot would say “My Eyes were a little bigger than my stomach.” Nicely done.
