What a marvelous craft, very ornate and beautiful. Many years ago my property had acres of long needle pine trees which covered the forest floor evety fall. One of my customers shared a tray she had made with pine needles and was looking for a source of clean, fresh long pine needles. I invited her to come to my property and take all the needles she wanted. Long story short, she did just thst, treated them and made hundreds of fine projects which supplemented her income nicely. What a humble, lovely lady she was and I feel honored to have known her & her talents. Thanks for the memories.

When you are using a center such as a coaster, how do you gage how far to space holes and how many to drill (odd or even)?

Where can I get those Florida pine needles? I live in New England and all our pine trees have short needles..very hard to work with.
