I can't even explain that steering geometry in English . Never mind in a second language. Well played Bobby.
  • Bobby’s presentation is one of the best car things I’ve ever seen online.

10:30 I'm a motor mechanic with 40yrs in the trade and previous rally car driving under my belt... In his two videos, Bobby has more clearly described the changes required for bump steer and Ackerman than any textbook I've ever seen! Top stuff my friend 👌

I think that is a very good plan for den service customers

Deep dish 3 spokes on the Saab will look awesome. Great choice

All the best black paint jobs (Oakland Roadster show ect ) are done in two pack direct gloss with the last two coats ( 4 in all ) 50% black 50% clear for ultraviolet protection , gloss and ease of polishing .
  • @Ralph2
Liked Bobby's explanation of the Ackermann steering issue. TVR looks gorgeous!

One of the things I am enjoying.. apart from the awesome builds.. is watching the business expand and growing stronger. Well done you guys.

Poor Cal, having to keep taking out the Mk1 and ragging the brains out of it. Tough gig 😂
  • @red00eye
I watched to the end and am interested.
  • Gawd! The paint job is unbelievable! The best looking '70's crappie color I've ever seen. I think the visible bolts look nice. They are functional, so show them off. Could they be made into a feature. Body colour perhaps? Churchill looks better and better. Vixen is microscopic! Interior looks stunning.

TVR fan here, but the quality of work that had gone into that Vixen already made it look like an existing RP project. The Den should encourage some really interesting asides from your main builds; I can't wait!
  • @Matnrach2-mf9qr
Problem is that if it is vibration induced, it could easily happen again. May need some compliance in the TPS mounting or a better quality sensor
  • @r0thrux
Cortina tail lamps on the TVR!

Great update, thanks for taking the time to put these out! Love the Allegros. I have a harvest gold Austin Maxi someone imported from the UK back in the day. Love to support Retropower by buying a key ring but at about 18 quid postage to Australia or about $60 landed... International postage is a nightmare... 🙄
  • @atsidis
Good on you lads keep up the great work
  • @AlsETypeResto
Restoring an e type right now. “Roughly mashed” is a good description of how these cars were put together.
  • Having you guys take care of my 72 Jaguar would almost be worth packing up and moving to your location in the UK from the States!! Good luck! I know you'll do well.
  • @bigbird2100
Great video 👍 Loving the Allegro car's if you have a screw bezel for the instrument cluster dial's you can hide the fasteners for the dash pod 😊
