  • Centerpoint needs to give us a credit for lost of food, lost wages and fuel for generators
  • @kellyd220
Give these people their money back since you can't provide service that they pay for!!!
  • Now, CenterPoint wants to spend 1 billion dollars on restoration with cement poles, new wires and transformers and tree trimming and removal. This should have been done 20-30 years ago like we did in Florida...God Bless...

We work hard. This is such a hit. I hate wasting food. I come home from a hard day of work and I’m sweating in my sleep
  • I’m moving, that’s how I’m preventing it. This will be my last hurricane season after living in Houston for 24 years. Houstonians are beautiful people! Will miss them!
  • It's not a damn surprise when CENTERPOINT HAD A WEEK IN ADVANCE. Knowing damn well Houston and Galveston get impacted during HURRICANE SEASON!!!
  • @pg77338
Nothing changed after Harvey. We get a really minor hurricane, and everyone in the city loses power. CenterPoint is taken by surprise; they learned nothing from Harvey.
  • Word from the out of state linemen is Centerpoint won't assign them work until pay is negotiated. Centerpoint expects them to pay for their own motels and food, and work for next to nothing.

I gotta say, it looked like the lady was throwing out Starkist tuna pouches. I recognize those because I buy them for lunch sometimes. They are fine and dont need to be refrigerated. I keep them in the pantry.
  • Remember Enron? Remember how they laughed at the people suffering blackouts they created and were raking in millions in profit from it? Pepridge Farm and I remember and we know that all people in the public utility business aren't saints. End the Centerpoint Monopoly!

Sounds like a class action lawsuit. Jsy storms have bombarded Houston before. The amount of incompetence to have preparations for it. Is purely appalling n a disgrace.
  • Why these situations keep happening at least 2 times a year since center point always said they are fully prepared?
  • @Adam-082
2:10 She just threw away packaged tuna lol wtf lady that stuff doesn't need to be refrigerated smfh
  • To be fair, the City of Houston shares a lot of blame too. Houston doesn't maintain their trees very well and they don't trim them or remove dead/dying trees. The city of Houston is equally responsible for this
  • They are only working 8 hr shifts in my area. Last 3 days they all leave at 5pm
