As a Michigan resident (a suburb just north of Detroit), I have to thank you for portraying such a good picture of Detroit! It gets such a bad reputation, but there truly are some great spots and it's come a long way over the years. Glad you had such a great time! 🙌

i thank you guys so much for showing my city in such a positive light! i grew up in Detroit and went to high school (Cass Tech) literally about 5 minutes from downtown. it's 1 thing when locals speak up about how great Detroit is. but it means something different when visitors come to Detroit and can see the beauty that we see in our city. thanks again! you should come back and check out more food, and more stuff in general!

The Detroit style pizza comes from the steel pans that they are made in, which were remnants from the auto industry. So glad that you've shown Detroit in such a positive light. :)

Highly underrated downtown. My hometown gets a bad rap too often. Lot of outsiders focus on the news feeds rather than actually coming here to see it for themselves. Not saying my city is perfect but one is mistaken if they don't think Detroit doesn't have many cool things to offer when one visits. Don't judge a book by its cover. Instead, read it for yourself

Man I can’t believe I just found this video now. I love my city man. I live about 45 minutes north and I always love coming down for dinner or a game. It’s not perfect, but we’re getting there. Thanks for showcasing why we think Detroit is special
