As an animator I really appreciate the animation, they where 4 people making a whole movie in just one year and someone still took the time to carefully sculpt those bear cheeks on the girl bear. It was probably their way of taking a break from the madness

I've been watching Amazing World of Gumball out of boredom recently and found that in Season 2 episode 10 they reference this movie with a similar-looking panda character (blue headband, not purple) and the exact same horrid animation style. Note that in the show it's called "How to Ratatwong your Panda" and discussing how it's a "mockbuster from the bargain bin". I skimmed the actual movie for the scene since it looked like a clip taken straight out of it, couldn't find it and was shocked. love me some subtle roasting

This film is so bad I think I can actually say that I could animate better. Then again that doesn't mean much because the bar is so low that it's practically a tripping hazard.

Been putting this video on when going to sleep for the past 3 months, and I can confidently say that these bears haunt my dreams now.

There are 2 options for whats happening with the animation A) the animators were having a blast, probably getting a bit tipsy and realizing after 3 hours they’ve made no progress, like a group project with friends Or B) the animators were miserable, trying to make ends meet and working on an extreme time crunch and just trying to get it done, probably running on 2 hours of sleep for the whole week

The biggest twist in the movie is that Pancada is a dancer and his name literally is one of the Portuguese words for punch

The scary thing is that Meowth's voice actor from the original Pokemon series is in this as the snotty bear.

I love the details of the fake eyes being Drew's eyes at 16:00, really adds character yk

The whole animation budget went to animating the mean girl's hair
