I honestly love these collections, I always love rewatching Scott the woz episodes, so having a bunch of them with similar themes is a miracle for my serotonin

Am I the only one who was fully on board the Phantom's hype train back when we were kids? I thought it was going to not only come out, but really change the landscape of console gaming. I told all of my friends about it and how amazing it was going to be. lol As a console + PC gaming lover, the thing seemed like a dream come true(considering it was the early 2000's). I knew the company was a huge underdog to compete with Sony/MS/Ninty, but I thought they were gonna pull it off and at the very least carve out their own decent sized hardcore fanbase. I was so disappointed when it kept getting pushed back and eventually cancelled. Getting hyped for things like the Phantom as a kid really made me a skeptical adult. These days I always find it hard to put my trust into unknown companies who are planning on creating an amazing product, building, theme park, etc. Really any type of difficult project. For example there's this amazing crystal lagoon resort+Mattel Adventure theme park being built near me in Arizona. We've never got any cool theme park resorts here in AZ and finally getting one here was something I used to want so bad as a kid. So it feels like a childhood dream coming true. And it's already half way finished being built, yet I'm still being negative expecting it to fail. I'm finding it hard to believe it will even be completed(let alone live up to the hype). It's hard to be positive, I've been let down too many times. 😂😭 Idk how investors trust random ass companies borrowing millions of dollars expecting them to live up to their promises. It's wild to me the kinds of projects people pour tons of money into lol. If anything, seeing how many failed/scam Kickstarter projects there's been over the years has only solidified my skeptical nature. I just can't trust anyone enough to get hyped and emotionally invested into ideas/projects. let alone give them money too. lol

I wonder why you counted the Virtual Boy as 4th Gen when there was a whole-ass Space Fantasy Zone for the TurboGrafx-16 that you coulda covered for that section.

Around 22:30 I think it would have been worth it to mention that the big 3 was once Atari, Sega, Nintendo--so while it may work "best" with 3 console makers, the 3 will probably not be MS, Sony, Nintendo forever (but it might Nintendo forever)
