I had a rough one yesterday I cried out for the first time verbally to a friend and I was just saying how tired I was and since a child uncalled for God to help me when I was being abused severely as a child and how I felt like that same little girl crying in the closet for God to save me (then proceeded to get beat). I went to sleep and was showed this song and the cover photo. God truly used you when he made this song thank you for being obedient ❤

This song hits so close to home. As a child, my dad was a real monster of a human being! (6'4" 260lbs.) Was so abusive to my brothers and I. I'd always take the brunt of the beatings trying to make sure we ate a few slices of bread each evening if possible. Some days we didn't eat dinner. Dinner was hard to come by. He had his case of beer every day instead of providing food. Beat me terribly when he found out I fed our siblings. But I took every beating praying to God that life would get better. Starved, beaten, burned, and freezing showers between 4-7. It was tough understanding why my dad hated God's beautiful children. My faith in Jesus kept me alive. I want all to know who's going through tough times, that God has a plan for each of us. Sometimes it doesn't seem like it. Lean on our Great Lord, and he will provide. I was adopted by my grandparents at age 7. Being adopted, and Jesus helped save my life. I have forgiven my dad so I don't carry that burden. When life gets rough, praise God. And when life is great, praise God. He will lift up our spirits and make us whole again. I'm 34 years of age. And want others to know that in God's time, our lives will get better. Lean on him and God will provide. I'm sorry for any age of child who is hurt by your parents or anyone else. Don't lose faith. I wake up every day smiling, knowing that my past is my past. And knowing forgiveness and happiness outweighs the evil doings in life. I pray who reads this, understands that you are loved by God even when you don't feel loved. I love each of you like a brother or sister. God's children are the best children! It took a long time for me to share this. I truly pray this helps anyone of any age get through your tough times. Please don't give up on Jesus! He love each of you! 😊❤❤
