A bit of excitement on the track is always good to watch, i love the way he drives and drifts, keep it coming SVG

He's good, as he said. Do we want to watch drivers go around single file? I love seeing him push for positions
  • Don’t whinge he’s the best thing Supercars has had for a long long time

It's not madness or wildness, the simple fact is that SVG has a huge amount of natural driving talent so he can get away with situations that would put other drivers in the wall, and he can read what sort of a car he has under him so well that he can have massive confidence in what the car will do. He also understands that motor racing is entertainment...

The champ can do what he wants

Motorsport needs more SVG's, look at F1 (F__kin boring motorsport). SVG is to V8SC, what Senna was to F1 in the 80s and 90s. A great talent and the reason to go to races or watch them on the TV.

I remember Skaife at lakeside in a gtr on a wet track driving onto the grass at the start of the race to overtake the 2wd cars. yeah speed was slower and he had 4wd but still. funny how he thought it was ok when he was young

Kimi raikkonen its not bloody f1 car. its a 2 ton 800 hp beast and it can deal with it otherwise they wouldn't use the curbs.

SVG is all the above and more, his car control in all conditions stems from his grassroots days on the farm with his dad Robert VG.

dont hate on gis, the real reward is the exposure the sport gets when this is shown all over the world, plus exposure to himself which is what he is paid to do.. besides hes pretty much the sharpest blade v8supercars has right now... wild and approved =)

Daniel Ricciardo found out at AGP it was a bad idea in the Renault at the start...

Hello Mark Scaife I can quite vividly remember when you fell off the track or were accidentally punted off as we all know it does occur. BUT I have seen you wave your clenched fists on live television and threatened to punch someone. You did say in this video that we should not show the younger generation the wrong things too do I feel if you live in a glass house you know the rest. Leave SVG the man alone he is truly a dead set genius.

People have different levels of nerve and risk threshold (just like pain threshold) what is seen as too much by the majority is perfectly acceptable to the minority of guys with a gift like SVG has. Senna was in the same boat, so was Kimi Räikkönen.

Skaife is a legend but gotta say his hair looks pretty weird in this vid lol

Just noticed the age of the vid. I had mixed feelings on SVG at this stage of his career - sure he made for great telly but he also got a bit too keen to punt other cars off the road. That being said he's mellowed out a LOT and now he's a legit championship contender. Wasn't a fan of him in 2015 but certainly reckon he's got the goods this year though.
