York Regional Police have charged a man with kidnapping in connection with the disappearance of an Ontario woman under "suspicious" circumstances.

Ying Zhang was last seen on July 25 at roughly 10:40 a.m. in the area of Woodbine Avenue and Steelcase Road in Markham, Ont. — an area just outside Toronto.

On Monday, police were on scene at the HoliBalance Wellness Centre inside the Chelsea Square commercial plaza looking for evidence about her disappearance. She is still missing.

A lawyer who works in the building told Global News Monday they heard screaming coming from the wellness centre on Thursday.

Global's Catherine McDonald reports.

For anyone fortunate enough to not have heard this type of story 1000 times, here is the grim reality: the man kidnapped her because he wanted to have sex with her, then raped her, then needed to make sure there was nobody to accuse him of rape so killed her, then needed to get rid of physical evidence so dumped her in the woods. Police probably saw his license plate when he drove by security cameras and found her dna in the van. He will be convicted eventually but these stories will keep happening. Look at any missing person website, its all beautiful women for a reason. Sad really.
