Actually Chile claims sovereign territory down to the south pole, making it much longer than shown in the video, and form 1879 to 1884 during the Pacific War against Perú and Bolivia, Chile conquered all the pacific coastline up to Lima, Perú, achieving a costal length of 8663 km. Also during that time Chile had the strongest navy on the Pacific, patrolling with little opposition up to San Francisco and successfully sending a battleship to stop the US annexation of Panama in April 1885. So Longer Chile could have very well been a reality.
