Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz condemned the mourning, stating "Israel will not accept mourning for a murderer" and criticized Turkey's Deputy Ambassador. National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir also rebuked the Turkish embassy, suggesting that representatives should return home.
