Powerman 5000: Retro Sci-Fi Metal. Rob Zombie: Retro Horror Metal.
-
Man he definitely sounds like Rob Zombies Brother, but he looks like Wayne Statics Brother haha
-
I heard Powerman referred to recently as "an obscure metal group from the late 90's" and wished more people had heard their music. Most ppl I hear refer to them seem to do it as a joke and I die a little inside every time.

Still remember seeing Primus in 1997 in Santa Cruz, CA. The two opening acts were unknowns by the name of Limp Bizkit and Powerman 5000 :) :)
-
This album stayed in my CD player through 8th grade.

A shame Powerman 5000 doesn't do the sci-fi retrometal anymore...
-
I remember seeing this on tv when I was 4, but I always thought it was just a dream, because as a child my imagination played tricks on me and I saw things that weren't there. But after all those years, I finally rediscovered this and I'm glad to know it wasn't just a dream! This song fucking kicks ass!
-
Still one of my favourites, I used to sit in front of MTV waiting for this one.

This song was very prophetic, seems more relevant than ever today. The social mediaplatforms distorting reality into people's lies of others and themselves.
-
These guys came to Louisville and sounded even better live than on record. And the energy coming from this man tore the damn roof off. It was rad as hell.
-
I personally love this style by Powerman 5000. While they don't consistently offer it each album, Tonight the Stars Revolt, Anyone for Doomsday, and Builders of the Future are very fun and in this style.
-
Nostalgia! Damn I miss the 90's...
-
Anyone else still listening to this in the year 5019?
-
Looking back at these old Powerman video's...... they look like they came straight out of the video game Borderlands.
-
I remember this shit from 1999 old-school Industrial music. I miss this era.
-
Saw them live in Dallas for the 20th Anniversity, they opened with this song, and so many memories and feeling resurfaced. Was a kickass show!!!
-
man I've been listening them since I was 15, fuck I'm old lol
-
End of days. 1999. Best soundtrack ever.
-
Man I forgot about this song.

I remember blasting this while playing MX Superfly on my GameCube. The 2000’s were a great time to be alive.
