" 'The Case of ESP' was frequently shown on PBS from 1984 until 1995, at which time for some unknown reason it disappeared from NOVA's files. It is now gone also from the files of WGBH, Boston, which produced the film, and from Time-Life Books, which distributed it for sale. This is not a fantasy, since I have a master BBC tape and several DVD copies of the original program on my desk. (Interestingly, 1995 was also the year in which the remote-viewing program was officially declassified and terminated by the CIA.) The disappearance of the film has never been explained. My guess is that the CIA put pressure on NOVA to pull the film, since NOVA alone was the US copyright holder, and only they could have accomplished such a complete disappearance."
-- Russell Targ, The Reality of ESP, page 135. (An excellent book.)
I used Handbrake software to convert this video to mp4 from the DVD which I obtained from Russell Targ at a workshop in 2012.

These old style documentaries are such gold. No fancy tricks and effects. Just straight up information.

My goodness , if you are patient , then watch and rewatch it all. If not - 20-45minutes will cover it. Just amazing depth of understanding . Honesty , openness and Naivety that is not seen in documentaries these days , it really shows what skills are being lost forgotten and hidden from most people. Practice these skills. They are being lost .... This works and creates the life you want. Peace. X

There’s a current documentary called "Third Eye Spies" (I think that’s what it’s called) with a much older Russ Targ ... it’s here on YouTube and a few other streaming services. It’s kinda lengthy but a great watch! Thanks for uploading this little gem! I enjoy old documentaries because there’s no "fluff." They simply give you the facts and let you come to your own conclusions, not trying to sway you one way or another.

"Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence". Who decides if some phenomenon is extraordinary? It's only extraordinary to a paradigm that regards it as such.

Wow, I'm glad this was on my feed. Thank you so much for posting it!

It's now being said that the sixth sense is actually the first sense. There is something extra physical about man and the brain is way more powerful and aware than we allow due to the bombardment of external stimuli.

Paul Vaughan's voice is a national treasure.

Clinical tests are great but they must wear the testers down. No wonder they can't perform well from test to test. What convinced me of ESP was reading the fascinating research by Ian Stevensen on psychic communication among close family members.

If you like this documentary, you better download a copy. I had posted a different BBC documentary about ESP on my channel and YouTube took it down for copyright infringement.

Psychic phenomena is real. I’ve experienced it.

The narrator is Paul Vaughan, who also narrated Threads as well as Kirby’s Epic Yarn.
  • If you believe that ESP is not real then you are truly behind everything. It is very important for every person to study/support this kind of work. It will lead to major advancements in health, knowledge and truth.
  • i think the problem is that you can't turn it on or off at will.... so the tests likely would not give a clear picture. I think ESP happens for instance with 'womens' intuition' to give one example... or a soldier in wartime getting a 'gut feeling'

and prior to the piece above, "And in 1983, television producer Tony Edwards made a film about us for BBC Horizon. It later became a PBS NOVA program called The Case of ESP.This was first aired in England as a ninety-minute program on BBC and later as a fifty-five-minute program in the United States. (WGBH Boston explained to me that they had to cut the seven-minute live and very successful remote-viewing session out of the BBC version because American audiences have a much shorter attention span than do English audiences.)" Don't you just love that last bit in brackets and "the dog ate my homework" feeble excuse. Yeah right. Thanks to the uploader.

One day physics will be able to explain psi and it will be truly marvelous day for humanity.

Two people can witness the same crime and describe it differently. Any study can be refuted...those convinced against their will, will have the same opinion still. thanks for the video!
