Dedicated to my amazing son who lost his life to gun-violence on July 5, 2018. He had just graduated from high school. He was wise beyond his years. He left a legacy. He had touched so many lives in the short time that he was here. He was my only child. I love you so much Austin. Life is not the same without you😢💔💝

My aunt passed last year on November 2 and I would listen to this sing everyday and I would start dancing and then I would be at the dance studio dancing and about 1 or 2 months later i finished it. one day my coach walked in and she said I HAVE to perform this she was in tears. I performed this at a competition as a tribute to my aunt. She raised me. If it weren’t for her I would be in a foster home or somewhere I probably wouldn’t even be in dance. And ever since I always felt as if she was with me.

My little brother died from colon cancer at 18. He was a football star and continued to play throughout until he couldn't. This song is one I always play because of the impact his strength he displayed throughout impacted my city and out lives from then til forever. David Williams Jr. #3 . The best Beyoncé song! This is the song that should have won her record of the year at the Grammys. It’s meaningful and speaks to everyone. I think everyone wants to be remembered and to have lived to the fullest. Side note: I can definitely see Whitney singing this song. It has a Whitney vibe so much. I checked the writing credits and it was written by Diane Warren. Now I see. ❤
