Please don’t change. There’s something that feels so personal and human with your channel that I’ve never found with ANY other cooking channel. Everything is always for fun but at the same time you’re trying your best just like the rest of us. Thank you for everything FutureCanoe! You’ve made us laugh and smile more than you know.
  • @Voltivar
strangely ive learnt more from futurecanoe than any other cook because he's way more relatable with having only half the ingredients or tools to even make a simple dish, and sometimes failing. sometimes failing and adapting is totally acceptable as the dish could still turn out ok. thank you, man. and congrats on the 1 mil subs!

I love his ability to make everything look both absolutely vile and delicious at the same time

1:36 "we make quick quick dipping sauce which has bisdfhbseiydfvsihfbiw kewpie mayo" man rapping in the middle of giving instruction
  • Honestly, you deserve that 1M. I feel like his content is fresh and original, which is very rare nowadays.

I couldn’t remember the channel name and wanted to pull this video up so I typed “potato recipes ligma fork” and this was the first result

Honestly you're my favorite channel. I was just talking to my wife about how you're in my top two youtubers that I'd love to meet, and I realized that the other was Josh Scherer from Mythical Kitchen. My question has to be what inspired you to start cooking like you do, all these serious cheffy dishes? My mom was a professional cook and I used to help her prep stuff all the time growing up so for me it's my place of comfort even though I've never done it for my primary job. Watching you is like a return to my childhood, sitting there while she went over basics with me... I miss her so much, thanks for being so real. It's like being with a real person while we cook.

Definitely, this is the only cooking channel that I can relate to, I like cooking but sometimes it does not always work out, missing ingredients, burning Sh''t, lack of fancy machines it's nice to see that those things do happen but they don't discourage you. I love your humour and I've learned a lot through your techniques and I also love that you are willing to try anything, looking forward to your next videos. Big ups to you dude!

An immersion blender, a torch, AND a ricer? Who are you and what have you done with FutureCanoe??? You can never go wrong with potatoes, especially when the budget is tight. Congratulations on 1 million subscribers! 🎉🎂It's well deserved and I'm glad to be a part of this wholesomely toxic Community. As for my Q&A questions, what's your favorite color and if you have siblings, how many, how far apart were y'all born, and where are you in the lineup? My favorite color is midnight blue and I'm the 2nd oldest of 6 living kids and one that cancer stole from us in 2016. (6 girls, 1 boy) Except for me and my first baby sister, we're all 18 months apart. The gap between me and first baby sister was 6 years.

99% sure this guy is actually a professional chef, but the low end YouTube is just his vibe.

That outro was so wholesome man. Keep doing your vids out of passion and you'll be around for a long time So glad your channel is growing, you deserve it!
  • @MiuMiuPopp
I genuinely forget he can cook sometimes and it always shocks me when his food looks decent
  • @Pan472
Congratulations on 1 mil, you deserve it🎉. You're literally the only absolutely realistic food channel on all platforms.
  • Congratulations on reaching 1 million subscribers 🎉! You truly deserve it. I've been following you since your first YouTube video came out, and I genuinely appreciate your honest and enjoyable cooking content. There aren't many creators on this platform who offer both funny and honest cooking videos. Your imperfections make your videos relatable, and I hope you continue being authentic. Keep up the fantastic work! 🙂

I sit thru all the ads so Canoe can afford that caviar.
  • @bloodfireow7380
Congratulations 🎉 Canoe! You deserve it so much and you’ve become my favourite foodtuber in this past year. It’s been incredible watching your journey from fighting kitchen appliances to being able to cook. I hope to be a part of this great community and follow you, the Ligma fork and your radioactive chicken for a long time to come

I've watched nearly every video on your channel and I want to tell you how inspiring I find it that you persevere at recipes you don't have the equipment or ingredients for! I find your willingness to hand-whisk things or in general just put in the elbow grease it takes to make something without a kitchen aid super admirable and it's made me resolve to do the same, because so often I skip recipes I would like to make just because I don't have the right tools for it. thanks for making videos that inspire people to cook. you totally deserve the 1M!
  • @ddaeguqt
For Q&A: What inspired you to create this channel? Has living in NYC affected the way you view cooking and food? I really enjoy cooking so I feel like living in such a diverse area would really fuel me to learn about a much larger variety of dishes than what I'm used to and grew up with.
  • @braincabbage
this channel feels much less affected than other cooking channels. Him not having all the ingredients, recipes sometimes failing, presentation often not looking that great and no overly loud and fake sounding enthusiastic voiceovers, just some dry humour and a very sarcastic viewership, all of it just comes together in a way that I appreciate
