Carlsen is such a brash guy trying to go for the sneaky checkmate at the end even though he was totally lost.
  • @Ockgehem1
It's so annoying when the show the variations instead of staying showing the actual game!

A noce double for Wesley! He once destroyed Kasparov in an even more humiliating fashion.

How to ruin a good game of chess with constant analysing. It was slightly better with the sound off.
  • @elindauer
What great imagination from Wesley. Beautiful game nicely commentated.

If you can't show the board then whats the point? We're not here to know what the commentators would do...
  • @TefGG
Love the commentary, keep up the good work!

I cut off sound to follow this game, commentators are exhausting.

What a fun game. Magnus looked done several times, stick a fork in him, but he found a way to make So a bit scared right before the end....so typical of Carlsen. This game did indeed feel like one of those games that Fischer describes in his 60 MGames.
  • So Alireza most likely took Wesley So's greatest chance to qualify for the Classical World Championship, if it is true that playing in Toronto feels more comfortable for So.

Insane play by Wesley, which I barely can get my head around. But just to demonstrate what monsters these guys are, Magnus then gets within a move of mating Wesley. OK he was ultimately in no trouble, but to think that he can manoeuvre out of that situation to create such counterplay. These GMs are ridiculous.

This would be a better video if you provided the when and where.
  • finally an opponent worthy to face magnus! outplayin him from opening to endgame
  • @surwilliams3005
"You either die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain." and the Hero Obviously Magnus is being commentated on with pure villany he's so good that people LOVE to see him Lose....

I'm not knowledgeable in chess. But is Rook to F7 (1 move upward/forward) not a good move compared to the last move of Magnus?
  • I'm from NY too but... still worried about the air quality here Robert 😂 also 11:06 (Magnus's reaction! Wow! Oh man...
