VIDEO INTRODUCTION:
Hi everybody,
The Ambanis just had perhaps the most expensive wedding in Indian history! And while the entire nation is trying to contemplate the scale opulence and grandeur of Ambanis, 2 schools of contrasting thoughts have emerged all across the country. While on one side, there is a segment that believes that it is a waste of money and the Ambaniā€™s are setting the wrong example. On the other side, there is just absolute appreciation and astonishment for the sheer scale and opulence of the wedding as a testament to the Indian ambition and achievement.
But what most people miss out on is that, this wedding is giving India an insane power advantage and if replicated by all billionaires, it could boost our exports and save 1000s of crores in tax payers money!!! Seems difficult right?? Well guess what, the British press has actually used their wedding as a carefully crafted marketing strategy for decades!! You don't believe me, look at these numbers, in 2011, the American super bowl was viewed by 111 million people, whereas the royal wedding of Kate Middleton and Prince William was viewed by 160 Million people. In 2018, while the FIFA world cup final was viewed by 1.1 Billion people and the royal wedding of Meghan markel and prince harry was viewed by 1.9 Billion people!! So These events aren't just fairy tales; they're billion-dollar marketing campaigns that have brought immense benefits to the UK economy.
The question is,
What is this concept of soft power?
How is this Ambani wedding in any way associated with boosting Indian exports?
How did the Royals of UK create a billion dollar return using these weddings?
And most importantly, what are the lessons that India needs to learn from this iconic marketing strategy?

A person having 120 billion and spending 600 mil is nothing...middle class people having 8 to 10 lac CTC spend around 10 lac on their marriage šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

LoL ppl getting triggered for spending their money and calling it show off šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ He is not even spending 1% of his wealth on paper. And the ppl calling him showoff are the ones who take loans and get married Now everyone with even a decent brain will understand who is trying to showoff šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

Comedian Vipul Goyal said Right - Ambani spent a fraction of his networth, whereas WE Middle class Desi spend 30/40% of our networth on weddings šŸ˜‚

India needs to understand that india needs to be marketed - thats a very good statement to summarising the whole case study ganesh bhaiya
  • Exactly..we indians should stop poking nose in every celebrity life...just mind our own business..and work hard to be rich ourselves..
  • @rajatchopra1411
To the geniuses that are saying that Ambani bought Ganeshprasad, must know that this wedding was a private event not funded by the tax payers, that is it is there own earned money!
  • @Anondrops
This video is exactly what I needed! Now my work is so much easier ā€“ I can just send it to my friend instead of explaining everything. Thanks a lot!
  • @indiragoswami03
I was trying to explain to my dad last week that this wedding wasn't a personal event for them, but rather a marketing opportunity for the Ambanis and India. However, I didn't have the facts and words to articulate my point very well. Now, I have a video to send him that shows what I was trying to say finally.
  • I see people are so jealous of them getting a very luxurious marriage, every parent wants to spend their child very grand, people are so jealous lol , stop judging people if you have money you would do the same...
  • @happykumar8982
Exactly...we should support Indian businesses instead of pulling them down
  • Bro I have been watching case studies for so long you changed my thoughts of why ambani family spend billions for a marriage
  • @knowledgenomads
First time in the history of any nation that a set of YouTubers are out there to pitch a billionaire wedding as something or some good deed for nation
  • @navneetkalia
India needs to subsidize flight tickets to all temple towns and this will help to export the Vasudeva Kutumbakum soft power at scale.
  • @spotoncam3640
Most common people complaining of extravaganza should NOTE that the money spent by Ambani is going to common people who are decorating, catering, driving etc for this wedding šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚
  • @Cradaver
The best thing apart from creation of soft power and some others.. what i liked was that they extensively promoted hinduism and indian culture and roots among indian elites as well as masses .. ofcourse athiest , feminist , independent and strong lavanya from south delhi(kotla mubarakpur ) will still say it obsolete ,mysogynistic and culture of uneducated Indians .. But it was great with this pov
