The Discipline of the Personality is Threefold: 1) Know Yourself. 2) Accept Yourself. 3) Become the Creator.

In this episode, you'll learn about one of the main concepts from the Law of One (Ra Material): The Discipline of the Personality. The disciplines of the personality are the paramount work of any who have become consciously aware of the process of evolution.

According to Ra (higher dimensional E.T.s that evolved on the planet Venus), "The heart of the discipline of the personality is threefold. One, know yourself. Two, accept yourself. Three, become the Creator. The third step is that step which, when accomplished, renders one the most humble servant of all, transparent in personality and completely able to know and accept other-selves."

This has been a mega wake up call for a few different reasons. One being that I was re reading the Law of One but these excuses not to read it have crept in. Things like... I need to do x first so no "greeting" can come in through that avenue. But I realise now that becomes an endless excuse. "x" hasn't been done for three months or so! It also brings more meaning to the personal journey I am currently on. Rather than me feeling I am wasting my time. Since I am not doing much more than discovering myself at the moment! A very, very good video.

I don't get what kind of discipline is expected by the higher self. Here they say to forgive and accept oneself and place attention where you prefer.........but in practice, the energies we incarnate with (karma) and the 'catalysts' rarely readily respond to any attempt to "love oneself". In fact, maybe it's just me, but I've had more success berating myself to go in certain directions (when many parts of me were invested in either staying the same or going somewhere else) than gently attempting to guide myself in any which way. What's more curious is that whatever dynamic operates our "alingment" seems to respond well to this as well...........meaning, from the higher selves point of view........it doesn't seem to matter HOW we get ourselves to allignment, so long as we do. This is the problem I have with these teachings. I don't feel they are clear about how an actual human surrounded by external and internal catalysts is supposed to move. I have NO idea what they perceive as handling catalysts in the right way.
