When Arthur took a moment to say goodbye to his horse...

Red dead is not the game of the year... Its the game of the decade
  • RDR2 doesn’t need to win the award, with it winning our hearts already.

Just played Red Dead Redemption 2 during quarantine. I've never been so emotionally invested in something as much as this game. The end made me feel like shit as if it happened in real life, it deeply affected me and impacted my emotional status. Never had that with anything apart from this game. Thanks Arthur.

*God of war: I’m the game of the year Arthur Morgan: Outta the damn way!
  • We shouldn’t be upset that GoW beat RDR2. Arthur made it clear that sometimes winning isn’t the only way to be victorious. The game changed the lives of its fans and that matters more than any award it could have gotten. It tried, and in the end it did.

I'm nearly 58yrs old. I've been PC gaming since the 80's. This game is one of the most immersive and all-around unforgettable experiences I've ever had while gaming. It's like being able to live a 2nd life, back in the late 1800's without the real hardshipts etc.. You can choose to live it however you want. Once you get passed all the early cut-scene stuff, just going around, exploring, helping people, taking out 'bad' people, seeing the incredible sites, experiencing the varying weather, bonding with your horse etc... Simply amazing.
  • Dutch chapter 4: “Alls I ask, is that you try” Arthur chapter 6: “I tried, Dutch”

This feels like a memorial to Arthur, as if we're all here to pay our respects.

"I guess uhh, I guess, . . . i'm afraid" "There is nothing to be afraid of Mr. Morgan"

Jack Marston: "I been reading about Knights.....you know, of the round table." John Marston: "The king, what's his name?" Jack Marston: "There's king Arthur, Sir Lancelot, and Lady Guinevere." John Marston: "King Arthur, I like that name." 😭

The " Cruel, cruel world " cover sounds so bright here, so colorful. What a great rendition of this song and great performance above all. Just finish this game one week ago. What a journey ! It should have been the GOTY. Even game of the decade. Masterpiece.
