I'll never forget this game. Steve Kerr came in, after not playing at all in this series, and hit 4 huge 3-pointers to help us come back and win game 6 and the series. Unreal.

Steve Nash, mavs team lose to Spurs. Goes back to Phoenix, repeatedly lose to Spurs in playoffs. Joins Lakers gets swept by Spurs in playoffs. Lol this man must really hate SA by now.

Man I almost forgot, players had to double and triple team Duncan back in the day.

Just the fact that Danny ferry and David Robinson were jumping up and down like crazy every time tells you how much they loved their last year in the nba and having fun. So glad they got a ring. Along with Steve smith and Kevin Willis. 🙏🏻❤️ Steve Kerr left his mark as a player

It had to suck dealing with Duncan at that time. You either don't double team and have him score 40+ or do double team and he passes it to the open man. Best power forward of all time.

Funny thing is Kerr was the backup of Speedy Claxton. Third string Pg. and made shot after shot! He ain't got 5 rings for no reason!
  • Man the way our bench cheered when Steve hit that last triple. I love my Spurs

The 2003 Spurs are one underrated championship team.

Mark Cuban looks like he's in a fraternity.

I will never forget this game-- one of the most incredible San Antonio Spurs three-point shooting displays I've ever seen in my entire life as a Spurs fan.
  • Great moment in Spurs history.  What makes this even greater is the fact that Big Dave Robinson was dealing with a very serious back injury. He played limited minutes that game and was actually on the bench at this point in the game because his back was just killing him.  Stevie Kerr's second and third three pointers made Big Dave forget about his ailing back.  He freaking does a 360 fist pump while bouncing up and down like when he was a rookie.  Basketball, what a wonderful game. ;-)

It was not a suprise, Steve Kerr was one of the Best 3 pointers shooters in NBA History, and was an Experienced Player, who could easily scored a lot of 3 points. Stephen Jackson was also excellent this season 2002/2003.

Steve Kerr, Stephen Jackson, those big shot role players vital in winning a title. The latter quite underrated, hit a lot of big shots during those mid 2000s playoff series, including in Finals.
  • @truhiphoptv6488
Stephen Jackson would get a 100 million dollar contract now easily smh

Best short highlight reel of a great player, Steve Kerr. He had a role and did it well. 8 time player/coach champion.

It wasn't just that Steve Kerr made the four 3 pointers, it's that he made all the right plays. Look at :48, when Manu drives to the basket, Kerr is wide open on the left wing. He was in the right spot every time. He made the right passes, he got the assists and the hockey assists. This is the reason Kerr and Horry were so good at their roles and were part of so many championship teams, cause they knew what their roles were and made the correct play almost every time.
  • @Bartek091991
His 3pointers were huge, but take a look at the dive in 2:20. Heart of the champion!

This will always be known as the “Steve Kerr game” but Stephen Jackson was also incredible in this game. It’s just that Jackson was a starter, while Kerr was the 3rd string PG that came in and got hot.
