This is one of my favorite hikes in the Phoenix area so far. It's short, only 4.6 miles round trip to Fremont Saddle, plus another 1 mile round trip to Lone Tree. Even though it's rocky and steep in some places, there were families, kids and people of all ages making this hike the day I was there. I hope this video helps you plan your trip--thanks for watching! -Mike 👍Like & subscribe for more Arizona adventure videos youtube.com/@ArizonaTreks Follow me on Instagram - www.instagram.com/az.treks/ ⬇️Resources used to create this video: ✍Canva - www.canva.com/ 🎤ElevenLabs - elevenlabs.io/ ⌚Garmin ️- www.garmin.com/en-US/ 🌎 Google Earth Pro - earth.google.com/ 🗺Google Maps - www.google.com/maps?entry=yt 📱iPhone - www.apple.com/iphone/ 💻MacBook Pro - www.apple.com/mac/ 🗺Relive - www.relive.cc/ 🎶Snapmuse.com (royalty free music for content creators) - snapmuse.com/ SUBSCRIBE TO ARIZONA TREKS: youtube.com/@ArizonaTreks

Peralta's absolutely one of my favorite trails in AZ. The Lone Pine overlook is one of the most beautiful places on the planet. You got some great footage here!

Thank you for this excellent overview of the Peralta Canyon Trail in the Superstition’s. We are headed there tomorrow from Tucson and look forward to an immersive experience.
  • Back in the mid to late 70's I back packed thru the superstitions with a group from my Jr high school, 3 days, I remember it was like 22 miles 18 miles and the last day 21 miles, the distances is what I remember, but probably wrong. But the first day was all up hill the 2nd day basically flat ground the third day all down hill, came out at the lake, one of my fondest memories in life, although my 14 pound pack by the end of day one weighed about 100 pounds, at least that's the way it seemed, I would love to be able to do the trip again,. We trained for about 6 months before going, we would go on 10 and 15 plus mile trips, about every other weekend, 7th grade in the phoenix area was way different back then,

Weavers Needle is a great hike with beautiful views. We actually climbed the Needle in the 80s. The Superstitions are a great place to visit. Over the decades I’ve been fortunate enough to hike pretty much every trail in the range. With the current rain we’re thinking about doing Flatiron, the rain leaves waterfalls flowing in the area. Makes a tough hike even tougher though. Happy Hiking!
