Wanted to do my do diligence in following up on my latest video about the Emancipator with a proper breakdown so here it is, hopefully you guys learned somethin and enjoyed the video! As always my favorite comment from this video will be featured at the end of the next~!

Helldiver armor: made with material capable of withstanding FTL travels Ballistic shield: scrapes off rockets and deadly lasers with no problem Giant mech that's armored to the teeth: hardened plastic, 9mm bullets punch through
  • The pain in Eravin's voice perfectly encapsulates the experience of using this mech for the first time
  • @dagdamor1
You know it’s bad when the Diver who did a whole breakdown on how to use ARs more effectively and efficiently sounds like he’s in physical pain describing our armored support.
  • @scaIawag
your most powerful tool, the monster created to fight monsters, your iron sentinel, is outclassed by a handheld rocket
  • @Deadsnake989
I'm not all that surprised the Eman isn't great against heavy units, considering the HD1 mech is was based on also wasn't great against armor, and said so in its description. However the HUGE difference between the Eman and the Obsidian, is the obsidian had 180 rounds PER ARM before upgrades, and 250 after. It could also launch stratagams, which our mech's can not. I would rather take an un-upgraded mech from 100 years ago, than the mech from the current age in HD1.

This is 9:08 why I watch whole video. I was trying to figure out how to turn off the light on the stupid mech lol thank you 🙏
  • @ethanjohnson3642
I swear man the illuminate arc wont even be fun with how behind they are on balance across the board, misson, weapons, stratgems etc.
  • @AlexDenton0451
Personally I've been enjoying the mech. I do play with 3 other buds usually, it does well on objectives that force a huge amount of enemies to swarm. One person runs the mech, three on either Quaesars, EATs, or Recoilless Rifles to get the team reload, allowing rapid dispensing of Biles. Typically I will just snag a spare Recoilless or EAT at a certain point after the first use of the mech on the objective, and bring 3 offensive strategems (One Airstrike for general fabricator or bug nest clearer, One Heavy Counter like a Orbital Rail/Laser/500kg, and a crowd clearer cluster/airburst).

I would not be surprised if in the vehicule bay they upgrade the mechs to adress many of their problem. Something like : -Upgrade plating armor to add a +1AC to the front -A single reload module per deployment you have to call in , just like for eagle-1 -An upgrade on the weapons (more durability damage , more explosive damage radius etc etc) They did that to many other stratagems after all.
  • @Rosa_0000
For anyone wondering how you can bring both mechs into the mission, the bug is really simple and is still working as of june 17th 2024. In the stratagem selection screen, select the Patriot Exosuit first, and then the railcannon strike. Switch the railcannon strike for the Emancipator mech and enjoy both mechs. For some reason, it doesn't take the spot of the other mech like it does for every other stratagem when you try to do this. Apparently, according to Arrowhead, the mech can really lag your game and they implemented the 1-mech-per-player to avoid performance issues, but I'm not sure this is true bc I haven't actually seen them say this.

Very much hoping that we get some vehicle upgrades that allow for re-arming or repairing so that the limited uses and long cooldown don't feel so restrictive! And of course the durable damage is quite sad. I'm hoping that spear gets a fix to it's lock-on soon so it can be a more reliable solution to bile titans, allowing me to jump out of a mech and kill the bile titan quickly then jump back in. The one-mech-type restriction is quite sad as well :( I was looking forward to the release of this mech specifically because more uses and staggering the cooldown would make mech gameplay more viable, considering you can't use other stratagems while piloting them
  • Double the durable damage for the emancipator. Fix the arm flexibility/aiming for mechs. Make mechs benefit from sentry upgrades.
  • @Teslijah
In HD1 there was a third mech that had an explosive AT cannon and flamethrower. I think that the emancipator is supposed to be the jack-of-all trades compared to the other mechs. The patriot deals with chaff, the lumberer (AT cannon) deals with heavies, and the emancipator can do everything, but not as well.
  • @magiloulou
It's fun! ... On difficulty 5. And for like 3 minutes lol Some more ammo and durability would really help both exosuits. But repair/resupply kits would be even better
  • @Commander_Appo
It’s got the ammo of an AT mech and the damage of an amazing chaff clearer. I wonder which they were trying to go for?
  • @TheCosmicAstro-
I feel bad for Eravin. Man made a whole model based off of the game and theyre just making it harder and harder to have fun playing. Really hoping the next patch or 2 breathe new life into the game and make it so much more fun and more variety in it for us.
  • I follow a lot of other HD2 channels but when it comes to stress testing a new strategem, this channel does it pretty darn well IMO. Subbed. Hope you keep making these in the future. On another note, Tien Kwan and Varylia 5 factories seem to be more about quantity over quality. I guess that shows Super Earth's war time philosophies right there, it's not about having superior fire power -- we'll just keep shoving more meat into the meat grinder and hope for the best.
  • @GameGod77
Your comment at the end about a vehicle bay ship module does give me hope. It's frustrating that we basically have to wait for mechs to become good, but in a way I suppose it's better than them having to be nerfed when we do eventually get the ability to upgrade them.
