Stanford travelling to North Carolina doesn't make sense but West Virginia travelling to Salt Lake City does?

"It's gonna be fine", he said. Famous last words throughout history.
  • You're fair, man. I just don't personally think 34 schools can control college athletics. That can not work long-term.

As a Big 10 and Ohio native, I don't see this going through due to the 1890 Sherman Act. for anti-competition. I bring up that federal law because if the Supreme Court decided NIL and the Justice Department is reviewing student transfers then they're also looking at this advisory panel under the guise of collusion.

If the NCAA goes, not only will NIL and portal rules go so does: targeting, face mask, clothes lining, block in the back or below the waist, etc.. We’ll lose all the rules, not just the ones you don’t like. Be careful what you wish for, you might just get it.

Yormack should tell American media to get fcked when our basketball tv rights deal is up in the coming years. The Big 12 runs college basketball and has for 5 of 6 years. Yormack should pull a LIV and go get Saudi backing on a streaming platform for rights to all big 12 sports and see what that money looks like compared to a failing Disney entity and Fox. College athletes will follow the money whether it’s from Saudi Arabia or not.

Of course they are. The Big 12 was always hopeless once Texas and OU decided to leave. Those are the only two brands anybody pays attention to 😂🤣😂

Rutgers is in the the Big Ten and Vanderbilt is in the SEC, so yes, because they are in the two big conferences they will have much to say. The NCAA will knuckle under or the Big Ten/SEC alliance will build its own league. Eventually, there will be the big boys league and everyone else. As it should be.

Whoever thinks ESPN is going to keep vandy and pay them $70m a year while leaving KU or OkState , etc behind is out of their Fg mind.
  • @davidzip8841
Thank you for this. The basketball conferences should have a voice also.

Once next season begins. Big xii is going to turn lots of heads. I cant wait.

Granted, football is huge. Basketball is big too….c’mon man!! Big 12 is fine!
  • @wa1w511
So conferences that don't make SEC or BIG10 money are now somehow screwed. That is only the perspective of the member schools. College football is still college football.
  • @Patrick-sg7cm
Any team that's not Notre Dame that's not in the SEC or the B1G is screwed.
  • @Patrick-sg7cm
Rutgers doesn’t get to decide anything all by itself. Rutgers, in conjunction with Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, and the other members of the B1G can decide the future of college football.

Even if there is a split into tiers and Big 12 is 2nd tier, so what. They aren't going to stop playing football. I'll watch OSU at whatever level they may be.

3:25 I think that the very same federal government will prop up the NCAA in some form or fashion because they can get all of their money and payments from one governing boy which is what the NCAA represents. Besides Virginia and Tennessee aren't pivtol states like a California, Florida or Ohio.
  • @christopherrj3pp
Why don't the Acc and big12 join together and yall can even throw in pac12
  • @mikefredd3390
I love your slight slip of the tongue PAC12 (BIG12) got screwed over.
