I’m so disappointed! As a mother of a 3 year old and residing alone with my son, I was super excited and about to purchase the new Byrna Le option until I did a little research and found that in my state of CA, they have banned the use of pepper balls on the Byrna. Almost every single state in our country is allowed to own the Byrna with the pepper ball option with the exception of 2-3 states which one happens to be CA. So upsetting. It’s ridiculous how the states that are known to have a lot problems like New York and CA where the citizens are at risk of violence are being limited from having the opportunity to own all the necessary non-lethal options to use in order to protect themselves, their family, their property. It’s simply infuriating that we cannot protect ourselves like all the other states and be allowed to have the pepper ball option which appears to be the most effective with the Byrna. I have to get out of CA I’m so sick of this state. Gas prices are up to $7 dollars, food prices, and housing are is so excessively high that crime, and homelessness just keeps getting worst! To make matters worst we are not allowed to use pepper balls to protect ourselves, property, and loved ones!

It should be noted that although this technology is not lethal , if your shot hits the person in the eye they will most likely lose that eye forever. In Florida with the "stand your ground" laws that wouldn't be a problem but elsewhere you could be facing a law suit. With that in mind head shots should be avoided unless the person is visibly armed.

Absolutely AMAZING review, concise, functionally informative, fun to watch…thank you so much!!
  • @scottbeard9640
Perfect review brother. From thumbnail to the tests. Thanks for this concise breakdown. Always look forward to your show!

11:38 Impressive, would definitely give someone a head injury. As a retired police officer and military, I’ve been interested in purchasing a less-lethal weapon. Byrna just might be what I’m looking for. Outstanding video, Sir!
  • Very nice demo of the LE. I've owned the HD XL for three years, and the LE since the 2023 Shot Show. Wouldn't leave home without it.
  • Another one well done! In terms of less lethal, the Byrna is a must have...I havent heard anything bad about it and your review was excellent as usual. I dont have one yet, but it's on the list for sure. Thanks again...have a safe trip to New York my friend...be safe!
  • Another great video a long time in the waiting. I am glad Byrna finally came through. I have had the Byrna SD for some time now and it’s been part of my edc bag most every day. The few times I carry my Umerax Walther PPQ M2, I still have the Byrna in my vehicle. Mostly vice versa. Keep up the great content.
  • @Joreel
So glad Byrna finally contacted you. We've been petitioning them for the past 5-6 months telling them about your channel and that they need to send you some of their stuff. I love my Byrna, it's been reliable and hasn't failed me yet. While it's not the most powerful launcher on the market, it's still more than capable of doing the job without causing permanent injuries. With a little practice you can pierce, switch off safety and fire in one smooth draw. Like every other gun, it's all about practice, practice, practice to get proficient with it. The Byrna LE is actually 22-24 Joules for the first shots and average 16-18 for the rest of the shots.
  • @uncleremus64
Thank you, sir. I purchased an LE using you link and discount. Great channel.
  • @luiznogueira1579
At last the long-awaited Byrna video! It was worth the wait, great stuff as usual! Wow, looks like Christmas always comes early to the Airgun Alley, with all the boxes filled with 'goodies' that you get, Gian! The Byrna's design seems a bit conventional, but its performance looked pretty good. Cool launcher!
  • @kenhaynes4259
Another excellent very entertaining video, everything well explained as usual. Not overly enamoured with the pistol but hey each to his own.
  • I'm glad you finally got a Byrna launcher to test. I have a Byrna LE, and I have seen it tested on some other airgun channels. Now that I have seen what it can do against the Dominican Republic coconut I am much more confident in it as a home defense weapon. I look forward to your further testing.
  • @alanspring8462
❤greatest show as usual, you are blessed to have your bundle of joy ❤
  • Another great video! Wasnt able to see it until today. Awesome shooting test. Thats quite some damage for a 2.9g proyectile.
