"Here, have 95% of your phone, we'll deliver the camera, the power button, and the small chunk missing on the side in 32 years"
  • The only advantage of apple phones is that they taste better

This is going on my "List of reasons not to live in the US" Seriously, I've never even entertained the idea of buying from a cell service provider. Every phone I've held in my hands has been bought at an electronics store, bar none.

Solution: don't upgrade your phone (unless you really need to)

If you can afford it, it’s absolutely cheaper to buy your phone outright and get a carrier like Mint Mobile or Metro. It’s also funny every time a salesman tries to pitch their carrier to me and then they just give up when I tell them I have Mint because they can’t compete with that price.

Bad show idea: It's a show but every fanfiction is canon

Meanwhile here in Brazil people only upgrade phones when their old stops working
  • Cell phone companies have edsentially made the 21st century version of cars. Everyone needs a phone, so they can charge as much as they want

Solution: buy unlocked phones not from a service provider, and don't buy expensive junk. A last year's Moto flagship is plenty.
  • Companys today always find a way so that you can't own something you bought so that they can profit off of you 💀

Solution: buy from somewhere like Amazon or another retailer that sells them unlocked. Have kept all of my phones, and now have the ability to use one as a camera and another as an extra security measure.

You don’t have to buy from your carrier. And if you use prepaid, it’s less likely that they’ll be trying to set you up with a payment plan. If you want to, check to see if your provider offers any kind of “bring your own phone” plans that you could take advantage of

95% of your phone had me so confused
  • @razor57.
I love collecting old phones either to salvage for found art sculptures or just to have for emergencies(fun fact any phone dispite if it's on a plan or not can call 911)
