One point to make here Arthur wasn't exactly inspired by Buddhism. You can read in some of his writings that he didn't really discover Buddhism till after he wrote is main work and he was thrilled to find something that came to a lot of the same conclusions he did independently

Bravo! Can you make an essay about his epistemology as well? Thank you so much.

"Why Buddhism is True" - book by Robert Wright, explores similar ideas.
  • I am surprised that no one gets the real meaning of his work, and that is the extention of the human race

I cant find a point inside this universe where it's okay. We are all evil slaves who are constantly faced with the fear of pain and destruction and for us to survive so many things need to die. You cant even walk down the sidewalk without murduring multiple insects and we feel so righteous that we deserve living more than they do. Im extremely disturbed because I can come up with no circumstance in this universe where any being isnt a slave to persitent, painful and existential suffering. Its gotten to the point where if I think a positive thought I become angry because it's not true and I only wish it were. I believe shoppenhour or however tf his name is spelt is wrong. There is no way out, probably not even death, and desire is not the problem. The problem is literally just unhappiness.
  • That is NOT A PHOTO OF ARTHUR !!! Fake image . Why not use a real old photo ?
