Loved this!! I don’t understand why influencers are always apologetic for a unboxing. We the general public do not get to see all the goodies you get to see, or perhaps the goodies that are sent to you to test, or perhaps the goodies that are sent to you just as a gift. Sorry to say I am not on that mailing list! And remember There are new people in the craft all the time ! If from time to time an algorithm gets massaged so be it, it is fun, beats watching the news! Everybody loves to see what’s new on the market! Are you going to make me take money out of my child’s mouth and spend an art materials? No I don’t think so. The unboxing is the icing on the cake, even a child knows too much icing can make you sick! We love window shopping!!😊

I love the unboxing, don’t mind hauls, and am ok with the occasional promotion unless it becomes the main focus of the channel. With you, art is always the main focus. You always keep it classy. Your videos are informative and i like that. Unbox away! I will watch!

I like unboxings, I despise "haul" videos. I like the ones that are gifts. Or if an artist has to replenish their supplies, and necessary things, with maybe a gift to themselves, but I despise promotions. Sorry, thats clear as mud. I usually pass them by, unless its something by an accomplished artist giving their serious and truthful evaluation and not just someone who is working for the company, trying to get more people to buy so they get a cut. Again I despise promotions. You did wonderful. And I always look for your take on products before I buy. You, an accomplished, excellent artist, with a heart for people, who really cares if we buy junk or good stuff and gives an honest opinion. Thank you! ❤

I really don't need any more art supplies, but I love watching you unboxing them. I like the way you respect the product and give us your first impression. You're not just slinging boxes and tissue paper around! I think all of us watching have 100% control of what we choose to buy. You and Paul Rubens need to collaborate on a Lindsay palette. They are always so close but they miss the mark (e.g., adding white and black, less than optimal browns, and seriously two yellows that look so similar?!, no yellow ochre) Pitch them the idea:)

Don’t worry about doing unboxings if you enjoy them. People who aren’t interested or don’t want to be tempted can skip the video. I love them because when you are swatching and mixing , I learn a lot about color and technique. It’s not always about the actual product for me. Thanks for the video!

Unboxings are fun! Personally, I never feel the urge to consume because of them. I like to see things that are out there that I probably wouldn't come across otherwise.

It's so funny, the comments mentioning "it beats the news!" Yes, it does. I do keep up with what's going on. But for too many years now, so much news has not been good and some just downright awful or scary 😱but it may finally be getting a bit better. 🤞😉. But YT channels for arts/crafts, thrifting/estate sales, vintage reselling, (picking,)history, learning, old movies, outdoor adventures... you name it, have offered millions of Americans and viewers around the world, an island of sanity and normalcy away from the stress of the world or maybe the stress of our week or just our day. Thank you Lindsay, for contributing so much to providing a "Happy Place" for thousands of us who enjoy being creatively inspired by your videos and tutorials and by YOU and then feel a bit of peace & calm while doing it! 👍
