Her boat is the coolest thing I saw. Sampriti Bhattacharyya is an incredible success story of 13 years of hard work. I hope you enjoy this special video.

Thank you to the entire Navier Team for helping me make this video and being so gracious. You guys rock!

Thank you for watching Nas Daily!

0:48 as a Indian I can't tolerate wrong map used by your editor. Jammu and Kashmir is our part and you can't show it as a separate.

She took the boat to a literal new level of crazyness.

There is so much omitted here, you don't just get an internship at Fermilab as a research assistant without having good credentials. It's the freaking Fermilab. She did BTech in electrical engineering from West Bengal Technical University, the university isn't that famous but most of the gems in STEM come out of her state Bengal in India, she must have been doing good in her academics or must have acquired some useful skills and her SOP must be really good for her to get a summer internship in Fermilab during her BTech. People from across the world try to get into Fermilab but only a handful do. Those who do are no joke. The proof is that she went on to get a PhD from MIT, average folk don't get that. She is a genius. So, stop making clickbait content Nas and make it sound like it's a piece of cake if you put your mind to it.

Her case is so relatable and inspiring to me... In my case I love science, I love physics but when I get low marks for not being able to solve numericals... It makes me feel demotivated.... Seeing her case inspires me so much........

This is so inspiring, she came out of the bubble created by the Indian education system and went on to find a purpose and pursue. Many of us are in a rut like she was in and hell yeah this pushes me to put in my efforts on something I genuinely want. Good content, Nas. Keep them coming.

This story really proves that it does not matter if you had good grades in the past as long as you work hard and put your mind to it you will succeed Edit: wow this comment got a lot of likes
  • As a fellow Kolkatan, I couldn't be more proud. Well done Sampriti, you are truly an inspiration.

Sampriti grew up in Kolkata, India, where she was an average student who failed physics and was told by her teacher to become a housewife. She did not let that discourage her and decided to study engineering at Jadavpur University. She applied for 540 internships out of which she was rejected by 539, she told NAS Daily in an interview. It was Fermilab, a particle physics laboratory in the US, where she finally got accepted. And so, she moved to the US from Kolkata, India to pursue her internship with Fermilab, where she worked as research assistant and it was love at first sight with Physics for Sampriti.

As an Indian I feel ashamed of myself missed talent like her here 🤷
  • What an inspiration she is to everyone.. Here is another chapter of the day saying 'your capabilities are limitless ' we just have to brush up the durt spilled by the negative views. Its time to shine 👏🏆
